My 5 year old daughter participated in the weeklong adventure camp and absolutely loved it. She was able to be independent and have great experiences that were hers alone. She grew a lot in the week of camp and I hope we will be able to send her every summer!

I had an awesome experience with this camp and most importantly my son LOVED every single day he was there. One of the best things was that they taught my son to ride a bike and for that I am very grateful. Believe me! I tried and tried and he refused, but one of the counselors was able to convince him and he did it! Not only the different kind of activities that they offer made me choose them, but also the fact that they offer them in a day camp format as well. My son is looking forward for next summer already!

This was my 7 year old grandsons 2nd year going to this wonderful camp! I can say enough good things about it! He learned and experienced so much during the week long day camp! Rock climbing on a real mountain in Morrison, kayaking and canoeing on the lake, hiking and pointing out things he's never seen before! Biking we had a little hiccup something happened and they had to stay near the camp and ride in the parking lot but last year they road on a long fun trip on mountain bikes! Each day after their adventure they would sit down and discuss what they felt, saw and experienced that was new! He met long lasting new friends last year that came back this year with him to experience something different! The camp counsellors are truly amazing, they got my shy little guy to come out of his shell and try new things! Next year hoping to do the stand up paddle boards and/or the over night camp. If you can only afford one camp to send your child to this is definite it hands down! It is a A1 organization all the way! They are easy to talk to and the best part is they take amazing pictures for your child and you to see all that they experienced during their week long camp instead of hear say!

If you want to have drivers taking your kids around that run stop signs and cut people off, like cyclists or maybe a semi-truck, this might be the place for you. Check out the link attached for what happened to me in Chatfield today, where not only did they cut me off and make me lock up my brakes, but also just plain ran the stop sign. Thankfully none of my children were in that van. https://youtu.be/lCKxwwtQQQg

It is really disappointing to have to rate Avid with a one star - but they have earned it. While we enjoyed having our son in camp last year - this year they are acting like crooks and refusing to refund in full when camps were cancelled. Zero customer service, even sent out a email saying that they won't be replying to emails or voicemail. The counselors are great, the company is rotten!

The counselors are grinning ear to ear every morning, like they can't wait for YOUR kid to arrive. Every child is made to feel empowered and special, like they can do anything! My little guy overcame some of his fear of heights, and learned that even if you fall, you can get back up and have fun again and it doesn't have to end! Bret was great- having his background and exptertise really cemented the survival skills my son learned!

My six year old daughter took the learn to bike 1/2 day camp and learned to ride the first day! She had lots of fun and loved her counselor. Every day she didn't want to leave and only had positive things to say. We've been happily bike riding ever since. We can't wait to check out more adventures with Avid4 Adventure next summer!
