I've never tried African food before this but, I was extremely impressed with the service and quality of food. Ms. Cleo (wife) runs the kitchen and the restaurant, until the husband Richard gets off from active duty military service in the army. I had the lamb soup, and the chicken with rice, and both were delicious. I will be back soon without a doubt. Thanks for delicious food and for your service in the military Richard + Cleo.

I was thrilled to find an African restaurant that wasn't Ethiopian. I've been craving African food ever since my first taste in NYC back in 2019.First off, I had to call the restaurant to find out exactly where they were located in the shopping center. See the pic to check out the exterior if you plan to visit. We ordered:- Jollof with chicken- Banku with fried tilapia- Fufu- Fried yamOverall, the meal was filling but not very satisfying, especially considering the cost. Nothing stood out as particularly amazing. The fried yam was overcooked and too hard to eat. My toddler couldn't even manage it, and we got it specifically for him.My husband liked the fufu, and I thought it was okay.We did not enjoy the Banku at all; the taste was overwhelming. We were expecting something similar to injera. The fried fish and fried chicken were nothing special. As for service, it was minimal, similar to Ethiopian restaurants, but I literally couldn't find our waitress (she was super sweet though). It was very hot inside, and we had to ask if they could turn on the AC.Overall, I was very disappointed and won't be coming back.

She was so nice, accommodated us, food was so good and so affordable! We don't even have a restaurant like this in Denver so we will be coming back before we leave!

Absolutely incredible! This is my new favorite restaurant! Everything here is amazing, starting with the warm greeting and service. So very helpful finding something you will love. Its my second time here, and I got so many things to try! I LOVE the goat soup with fufu, the banko okro stew, and the grilled tilapia!! Everything is so fresh and clearly made with passion and love. I cannot recommend it enough. I work in fine dining/hospitality, and am so impressed with every aspect of this restaurant. Consistently outstanding!! 20/10

I love the chicken and Jollof rice!!! It was so flavorful & I also got a side of fufu & my husband got the beef stew. Back to the fufu, it was honestly my favorite, the texture of it is just amazing! The service was great and the food came out at a reasonable time for the freshness of the food!

Lady was throwing down in the kitchen, no lie. I got the jollof chicken and rice and it was positively scran. My girlfriend got the plantain stew, which she ate until her stomach hurt. I had a bite and informed her after we left that there was definitely fish in the stew, which is a food heretofore she has completely abhorred and refused to eat. ArkCleoRich has converted her. The ambiance is not great, but could be improved by more customers in the building and less Cops on the television. A hidden gem of Colorado Springs.
