Super good food. Not greasy, fills you up and locals eat here. The plates are not huge but they are well made and seasoned.

After seeing so many positive comments about Angie's Latin Food, I finally made plans to visit for lunch today. I went with some friends who look to me for great restaurant picks. I scored additional points today!Angie's is a clean, modern, well designed restaurant. We were greeted upon entering, and I explained it was our first visit. The lady at the counter was so friendly and helpful with answering all of our questions about the different dishes and ingredients. I ordered the pastelitos and a pupusa with horchata to drink. Friends...this was so good! All of it! And filling and VERY reasonably priced. One of my friends couldn't decide what to get, so he ordered like 5 different dishes. He tried so hard to eat it all, but it was just more than any human should eat at one sitting.

Delicious food, sizeable portions, friendly service, private atmosphere. This place hit all the boxes for us. Five stars all day! Came here on a whim and glad to have found it. Nestled into a little side plaza, this place is worth a visit.Worth mentioning the food came out a little slower, but its being made fresh and hot!Even the plantain chips they serve complimentary at the tables was delicious! Yum. No complaints. Excellent food. You want this. You want this bad. A+ We will be back!

The girl with the Bucket Hat, sorry we never caught your name, is great! She's always there each time we come and is our waitress and is genuinely nice. She remembers everything we asks for and is always checking up on everyone. Food is good and fresh there. Place is quite large with the booths, regular seating and there's also a bar next door that they fill up as well!

Delicious delicious delicious food!! This gem of a restaurant was recommended by a Honduran friend and so my other Honduran friend and I decided to check it out. The restaurant got 3 stars as default because her face lit up when we went in and the server greeted her in Spanish, and when she looked at the menu. This is NOT an upscale restaurant. But, to the Indian in me, it reminded me of home, just with Spanish-speaking people. The menu is legit. My friend pretty much picked out 10 different things that we had to try because this is what she eats back home! But we narrowed it down to 3. To start with, the horchata was delicious! I've had some great horchatas in California and this was definitely at par. For food, we got the pollo con tajadas, pupusas and the pastelitos. And it was all REALLY GOOD. Trying to be unbiased here, so I can't choose but the pastelitos were my favorite because they reminded me of good samosas. The pollo con tajadas is a plate of chicken marinated in a delicious flavorful sauce (think along the lines of the Indian chicken curry) on a bed of fried plantains, salad and pickled onions. The whole thing was very well-made. The chicken was perfectly cooked and just spicy enough to be enjoyed with the plantains. The plantains were, surprisingly (because I don't like plantains), very good too! But I definitely preferred them soggy with the beautiful curry from the chicken. The pastelitos are basically empanadas or karanjis (for the Maharashtrian indians reading this) but stuffed with a savory filling. We had the option of chicken or beef with potatoes. We got beef with potatoes. The sauce that came with it to dip them, the powdered cheese and the salad altogether made an excellent bite. Even the next day, it tasted delicious! They gave a mint/coriander based chutney with the chicken but it tasted better with the pastelitos and the pupusas. The pupusas were much bigger than what my friend is used to. They are basically stuffed parathas. We got the ones with cheese. The melted cheese in the pupusas with the chutney, salad, onions and the dip was another smashing hit. All in all, this was a great meal! Their portions are huge. We took half of it home. But honestly, this place reminded my friend and me of our respective homes and that is a feeling you cannot forget. We will be back! P.S. their refried beans are amazing and they have the actual hot sauce used in Honduras!

Great price & delicious food! Large portions & very tasty! Servers are very nice and was very patient despite me coming in with my 3 little kids. Food also seemed to be authentic too. One of the most authentic places I ate at during my 2 month stay in the Springs.

The best Honduran food!!!!I was born and raised in Honduras and miss the food from home. Wilmer welcomed us with the friendliest biggest Honduran smile and the lovely Honduran accent! I felt right at home. My husband and I ordered baleadas, pupusas, pastelitos, plátano con frijoles and tacos hondureños... all amazing! For dessert we had an horchata and it was just heaven for me! Will be coming back for sure!!!

29 Mar 23 - met my ex daughter in law for lunch at this Latin restaurant that serves food from Honduras. The first thing they brought us before we ordered was a basket of warm chips and salsa. I ordered a chicken with sauce dish that was served with fried green plantain and cabbage on the bottom and had a green dipping sauce. The chicken was very tasty and the dipping sauce was delicious. My husband ordered a burger with French fries and Christine had the carne asada tacos that came with Mexican rice and black beans. Service was good and the waitress spoke English and Spanish. Their portions were bigger than usual and their prices are very reasonable. Great Latin restaurant!
