Amarillo Motel

Yes this place is a mess it's antic ..yes it's dirty AF ..and has a lot of homeless .but when ppl have no where to go and the means to pay for a place to stay ..this place is definitely cheep and most of the rooms have everything you need ..they have tried to clean this place up., but it's ancient and the owners are unable to do it them selves ..this could be a vary genuine place if they fixed it up ..it's sad to see historical places go under cause ppl are so judgemental .I'm a clean person so anywhere I go all tips of cleaning supplies come with me ..I cleaned everything sprayed everything .and I stay pretty comfy here for the time being ..It's really not a bad spot if you keep to yourself .And the staff and ppl living here are vary friendly and would take the shirts off their backs for anyone .

The manager, Don duley, is not good at his job. He hits on all women who shops at the store/office. He's not mentally capable of doing his job. He cannot be trusted. He gives his boss problems. The property before it was sold and torn down was never taken care of. They had massive bed bugs problems and he refused to do anything about it. He would actually blame the tenants for bringing them in. I'm a former resident and the property was not ideal at all. The rooms were dirty. Roaches and bed bugs. Don is still bringing bed bugs into the office/store and won't take care of the problem. If you go to 2801 West Colorado avenue, that's the former Amarillo motel. Ask for Rashell brown, his boss, and let her know that he's had bed bugs and bringing them to work from his home.

This place is the worst it was so gross I could not even stand to be in the room I cleaned the bathroom so I could use it , so many meth addicts people were asking outright if we had it ( the answer is no ) !!!! , my husband caught a group of guys trying to pry our pasinger door open !! It's is filthy, and wish I could get my money back I ended up leaving at 3 am no sleep due to tenants if I could give a zero I would. Also the main living area had no light at all none I think it was so u could not see how gross it was also the " windows " did not lock nor were they windows just pains of glass with 4 individual pieces and no they did not lock . And no remote for tv so only one channel due to no buttons on tv Worst night of my life
