We took our young adult kids to Amanda's Fonda. Great service, very tasty food and drink. The ambiance delightful with the sound of water by the creek, we love seating at the patio.Thank you!

Heather was wonderful. Been coming to Amanda's Fonda over 25 years. The best Mexican food around... ask for outdoor seating whenever possible and on the river side! Thank you Amanda's Fonda ...be back soon...

Frequented this restaurant for SO many years! Up until recently it had been about 7 or 8 years since me and my family had been. We were on the Westside and thought we should go! We were all pretty excited about sitting on the patio listening to the creek and enjoying our late lunch! Service was great as always! BUT the food just lacked seasoning, the rice and beans were tasteless and awful and the salsa just wasn't what we remembered...and the menu shrunk in half. We were told that just changed a couple days before. It was pretty anticlimactic to say the least...sad to see these changes to a place we loved so much. We will probably not go back unless things change.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!The only thing going for this place is the outdoor side patio seating next to the creek. Traveling through to our next camp spot we stopped with our two dogs. They allow dogs on their front patio. My husband interrupted the hostess eating when he asked to be seated. Not sure of our servers name because she didn't introduce herself, but she had to ask my husband at least twice that he wanted hard tacos instead of soft. I ordered the chimichanga which was more tortilla than shredded beef. The salsa is watery and chips taste store bought. The server never checked on us once we got our food. I went in to wash my hands before eating and as soon as you step into the restaurant it smells like a urinal. Once you get into the bathroom it's even worse. While sitting on the patio eating I kept getting g whiffs of the urine smell. I told my husband we need to go, this is gross. A full star is being generous here.

Went for my daughter's birthday, because despite their mediocre food, she chose them out of all the places in the springs. Waited until 7 so her dad could meet us. Walked in, oh, Google says they close at 9 and we were told they actually decided to close at 7 instead. We live in Manitou and used to visit frequently. Won't be returning.

This is such a charming place both inside and out on the patio also. Their complimentary house made salsa is so fresh and tasty with crispy tortilla chips. The molcajete for one was so delicious and it was enough food for two meals. I would definitely order that again. The Dream Man loved the Gordo burrito from the specials menu and added the green chili sauce. Our server was training someone and they both took great care of us all evening. We loved sitting on the patio by the water. Such a great place to unwind with wonderful food and drinks!

We loved dinner here during our family trip. The creekside dining can't be beat we just loved the ambiance. Big portions, was very very full when we left. Love the slaw that comes with their meals, highly recommend trying it. I ordered a combination plate which came with their special slaw and rice and beans.

Location was great and seating outside was nice. The food however was just okay. Not sure if it's Tex Mex or Mexican just from what I'm used to it wasn't great. The Chile relleno had what was like an egg roll wrapper around it vs the traditional egg batter. The rice was okay. If you are used to Tex Mex or authentic Mexican food I would not recommend the food. The servers were very nice. I did not try a margarita. They did look good.

Visited during our visit to Colorado Springs. Great place for after a busy day hiking. Portion sizes were large! Shared a 48 oz pitcher of margarita between two people and it was more than enough. Had about 3 full glasses each. The salsa was one of the only food items that disappointed me. Lacked flavor. Really chunky - so your choice is you are into that. Services was okay. We spent quite a bit of time waiting for check after we had asked for it. but it was a busy evening. Beautiful view out back! Ask to sit outside if weather is nice.
