Fabulous shop to rent or buy SUP gear and take classes. I recently took a river SUP class from JB and had a blast. Before getting on the water, JB briefed us on proper safety equipment, how to check the river's flow, what to look out for on the river, etc. On the water, JB was very patient sharing his knowledge and helping us navigate getting in and out of eddies, choosing the best line, how to avoid collisions and more. This class is a MUST if you are interested in river SUP'ing...And even if you'd like to stick with flat water, I'd recommend taking this class just to have the additional knowledge of improving your stability in choppy water or proper stance and paddle technique. The course fee was a great value for the experience, and I'd highly recommend this for anyone just getting into SUP or wanting to brush up on their skills.Also, my husband and I rented boards from Altitude on a separate occasion. JB and Justin had everything ready for us when we arrived at 11 and were very helpful giving us advice on SUP'ing the Platte. We had a wonderful time and the gear we were using was top-notch - so was the customer service.We will definitely use Altitude again. Please check them out and support this awesome local business.

I purchased a POP paddle board to take on a trip to Lake Tahoe. No instruction was provided on how to assemble. When we tried to inflate the board we found a leak. I reached out to the shop 3 days in a row to resolve this problem. No response so far from the manager or the owner. I know the leak is not their responsibility but the resolution is. If they had opened the board and inflated it at the shop, we would not be in the predicament we are in today.

If you need your SUP board fixed, I highly recommend Altitude PB. Willy was wonderful to work with. I gave them a pretty good challenge with a broken fin box on my touring board and they did an amazing job. I'm super happy with my experience and would totally use them again...but hopefully not too soon. Thanks guys!

Took a great SUP yoga glass from these guys.Staff was very knowledgeable and kept us feeling nice and safe about going out on the water with them. I've done yoga hundreds of times but never on a paddle board, and Nancy started the class nice and slow for us. Once she noticed we were keeping up she pushed us harder and it was a a really great way to start a Sunday morning.It was a nice calm morning and at the end of class we got to play around on the boards trying challenging poses like headstand etc. We all had fun and most of us ended up jumping in the water because why not!?10/10 would do again.

Seriously the best customer service I have received in awhile. These guys are super passionate about making sure you get what you need, not interested in up selling you just for the heck of it which I really appreciate! Everyone in this shop was just a joy to interact with, I would highly recommend stopping by if you're in need of some awesome paddling gear!

I run a day camp in town and we use Altitude Paddle to guide our camper for SUPing. These guys are fantastic! They always come so prepared and accommodate the variety of needs we have with our kiddos. I highly recommend them for group guiding for kids and adults alike!

By far the best customer service I've had in a while, maybe ever. I went into Altitude Paddleboards with a rather unique fin problem. I couldn't find a replacement to my one of a kind fin, nor would the manufacturer respond to my messages. Willy and the other gentleman (whose name I didn't catch, but should have because he is awesome) jumped right in and fabricated a fin on the spot. I needed a few other items and both were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They even insisted on helping me to my car. I'll never buy my SUP equipment anywhere else.

Not usually one to leave reviews I absolutely feel this shop and the people working there should be recognized. I discovered this shop online doing research on different boards and they happened to carry the manufacturers and boards I was interested in. I called several times to ask questions and every time I felt like I was being given their undivided attention and benefits of the depth of knowledge and experience they have. I ended up buying a board I hadn't even considered and I love it. Definitely without a doubt worth going to Altitude Paddleboards.

Such an amazing experience. I've been dying to paddle board and picked up a used board from a guy. Didn't have a fin or paddle and I stopped in Altitude to grab those things. I can't recall the guys name but,assuming the owner, and he was super helpful. I never really knew how much this can all cost and it's a little pricey but i would rather support this business than shop online. The service it top notch and very knowledgeable. Will be back and recommend to anyone needed SUP accessories. Thank you kindly.
