Almresi reminds me of eating at a Swiss chalet. With Switzerland-inspired decor and pricing, the food was quite delicious; the pork shank was incredibly juicy and fork-tender (no knifing about it). A great meal at an Aspen-expected price point. Service was very attentive and it's worth stopping by for a meal.

This is one of the very best restaurants in Aspen Colorado for several reasons including cutting-edge unique European decor, super hospitality and service, and most important one of the best meals you'll ever have in Aspen Colorado.Jack Tyrrell

Great ambiance and service. Didn't get a chance to try the food but highly recommend the glühwein (mulled wine). Will definitely be coming in again to try their menu.

Awesome food and great ambience to match. Kid friendly but still upscale. It was a highlight of our trip to Aspen.

What's not to love about Almresi Aspen? I had a lovely dinner here and enjoyed every aspect of my meal. The waitstaff is warm and friendly- I felt instantly welcomed as I was taken to my table and throughout my meal I was engaged in great, meaningful conversation about the town and a little background of the restaurant. The decor is incredible. There are antlers on the ceiling, cuckoo clocks on the wall and authentic cowbells proudly displayed. It has such a cozy chalet vibe; just the decor alone is enough to transport you to Germany or Austria.Almresi Aspen is also very attentive to detail. Everything that was served to me was plated beautifully. Even my ginger ale was cute. It had a floral paper straw and a little wooden Holstein Cow head on it! For an entree I ordered a pesto pasta dish that was not too heavy and had lots of yummy pine nuts. To wrap things up I got the cake of the day, which was more of like a pie with juicy pears. Once again, this dish was not too heavy and had just the right amount of sweetness. Overall I was so pleased with my visit to Almresi! It's such an all-around great place to dine. I'd eat here again next time I visit Aspen!

Cozy restaurant, friendly staff, but the menu is small and the food is just not very good.

I love this place but it's SO inconsistently open. We planned on a birthday dinner there recently and what would you know... unexpectedly closed. When it's open it's great, the food service and ambiance are great, it's like being in Austria. But they need to get their s together because they have already alienated us with their weirdly sporadic opening hours and dates... Not good for a restaurant to do this, it's a shame
