Albertaco's

I'm a Mexican food junkie and I hadn't tried this place so I stopped in today. So first, the reason I hadn't tried this place is I thought that it was more of a "2 AM after the bar" type of a taco shop. The outside is kind of dingy. And I only drove through the drive-through so I can't speak for the inside decor. Turns out this taco shop is pretty similar to Monica's, Daniels, and Taco Express. It was a solid joint. It's slightly more expensive than the other three places I mentioned. I got a shredded beef taco and a Carnitas taco. These two tacos cost about a buck forty more here than they would've cost at Taco Express for similar portion sizes. What stood out to me the most was the Carnitas we're not greasy at all, and they were cut into little chunks instead of shredded. Quite tasty. I preferred the green tomatillo salsa. It had a little more kick to it. The red salsa had flavor, but not really spice.So the big question that I ask myself: if all four of these taco joints were lined up next to each other which one would I go into? I didn't think Albertaco's distinguished itself enough in quality to make me pick it. Taco Express is super tasty and it would be my favorite if it wasn't so incredibly greasy. Monica's and Daniels are a tossup for me. The portion sizes are a little smaller, but the food at both places is equally yummy.

Tried Albertaco's for the first time and it was exactly what I had imagined based off what I've seen/heard. Good tasting food, great portion sizes especially for the price, and I was overall content with my dinner. I will be eating here again!

Best Mexican food in Colorado Springs! I've been eating here for over 15 years. I always order the carne asada burrito! It's a quick service, almost fast food style. I cannot recommend enough grabbing a bite to eat here if you want authentic Mexican food.

Burritos were awesome! We got the Cali, Colorado, and breakfast burrito and they were all great. Great fast service. Get a lot of bang for your buck!

Was craving a mexican dish super early in the morning the other week & this was the only place still open. Love how late it is available for delivery too (it was around 1am). Food was fantastic & for take out the meal size itself was fairly priced & absolutely enough to feed yourself & another! Large portion sizes & again, love the convenient hours they stay open. Fast delivery time!

Albertaco's is my go to for carne asada fries! I usually get a half order and it's plenty. It's authentic and the salsas are great! The balance between meat, fries, and toppings is perfect. The service is fast and they have a drive thru window.

Asked for carne asada super nachos.. I got depressed nachos. Old meat w sadness. I only requested no guacamole and extra salsa sides. We received unmelted cheese w cold/ old meat and cream. I requested extra salsa... 2 red and 1 green total! I haven't came here in over 8 months in hopes it would improve but when I returned tonight it had sadly further dropped in position. If Taco Del Gordo was open longer than Albertacos, Albertacos would not be an equation. Should shut down w the food we were served. I just paid for $13 dollars of food I had to throw away instead of eating or feeding to my dog. Idk if it's night management or not, but I'm not returning! My teenage boys also refuse to eat this monstrosity called of a meal! I bought this for my son's and I to share as a late snack and play games with.

Ordered from somebody not listening. Told him three times beef taco and we got and paid for a beef tostada. Called and not happy!

The service was non-attentive.The food was not good.Would not return. They used French fries for potatoes.;(

Absolutely incompetent workers. I ordered a potato egg and cheese breakfast burrito with NO BACON and they put bacon on it while still writing NO BACON on the WRAPPER. Absolutely ridiculous tried to call to see if I can get a refund because I placed the order online but no answer. Don't waste your time coming to this place.
