This place was really great in all respects. -The ambiance was really cool. Lots of Japanese art to look at while eating. -The service was incredibly fast and attentive. The waitress was sure to ask us how everything was tasting but not to the point of hovering. -The food was the best part. I had hot and sour soup and it was the best I've ever had. It wasn't the kind of goopy, gelatinous consistency you often get at generic Chinese restaurants. And it came out piping hot too, huge plus. I also got a spicy tuna/cucumber roll, also one of the best I've had. Didn't even need soy sauce. The natural flavors were perfectly balanced. And for the entree, I got the Mongolian beef. To my surprise, it was actually cooked a perfect medium, bordering medium-rare. I've never had that dish with the pink in the center of the cut. Super keen eye for detail and very tender and tasty. All in all I really think this place hit all the right marks on 10. I will definitely be back.

Service was impeccable, restaurant was pretty empty around 3:20 pm on a Sunday, which was great for our service before many people started to come in about an hour later. Such delicious food! Everything tasted yummy and scrumptious, I really enjoyed the depth of the broth of the spicy duck noodle soup while my daughter boasted about the rich flavor of her pad Thai with beef. She always adds an over-easy egg on her noodles--9 years old and a sophisticated palette. Edamame was perfectly cooked and pork soup dumplings were great, looking forward to trying the onion soup ones next time. Delightful place to patron and we will definitely be back! Looking forward to trying their sushi next!

Very good spicy duck noodle soup! It's memorable. Good spicy pork wontons too. The presentation was excellent. The spice level of the food is high-so best to watch out if you can't handle spicy foods .Good service and decent post pandemic prices. Interesting hybrid of west meets east decor.

We came here on a recommendation and we were glad we did. I ordered the Korean bbq and asked for a mild version which they accommodated perfectly. The flavors and texture were just right. Hubby had two rolls, shrimp tempura and California roll. Both were tasty and fresh. It was a little chilly inside but otherwise, atmosphere was tastefully done and clean. Service was great. Our server was friendly and joked with us which is always nice. We will return!

We have been wanting to try Akarui Sushi & Wok for over 4 months now, and so incredibly happy we were able to go today! The menu has a little bit of everything, so a lot to choose from. We had a great time, and our server was very friendly, and ensured us about ingredients for each item since we have a mushroom & peanut allergy in the family. Will definitely be back and bring friends next time.

I was in the mood for spicy and savory. We started with the onion soup dumplings which came in a chili oil - soooo good! I used the extra chili oil for our other dishes. For our mains (we shared), we had the thai chicken basil and great wall hot pot with beef. Both dishes had very different flavors - both were so delicious. I kept going back and forth between the two to see which one I liked more, but they were both great in their own way. Perfect amount of spice as well!The ambiance was nice and calm. Very clean. The service was friendly. Some of the sushi caught my eye so I'm def gonna return soon with an update on that.

Swing and a miss. This restaurant is pretty basic with a very sparse interior. Staff was quick and friendly. The food was just okay. I had the spicy duck noodle soup, which contained not a hint of spicy but was actually sweet. The duck was filled with small bones so eater, beware. Overall it was just okay but i don't think I would go back.
