Aiki Sushi & Ramen

The Shoyu Ramen is a good dish here. Over all atmosphere was pleasant. The servers were attentive. I'd come back and try another dish.

This place was across from our hotel & we love sushi, so we tried it. We had our dog with us, so we got it to go. A BONUS was that ALL ROLLS WERE HALF PRICE! :)We weren't super hungry, so we got 5 rolls for the 3 of us, and it was plenty. The rolls we ordered were fresh & delicious. I don't like styrofoam - AND I think cream cheese on sushi is "wrong" - so I deducted a star for those.

The food and service left much to be desired. We has miso soup, fried tofu, sashimi. Philly roll and the monkey brain. The food didn't taste as fresh and the breading on the tofu was pretty thick as well as a little too crunchy. No one greated or even checked on us. Not expensive so that's a plus.

The worst meal I've had in years. Please don't go. The food l, chicken katsu and teriyaki beef, were both so overcooked they were inedible. I spit mine back onto my plate because the burnt flavor was too strong. The teriyaki sauce was thicker than ketchup and did not taste good. The tempura was way over battered and so overcooked they turned brown and the vegetables inside of it were inedible. The side salad was literal chunks of iceberg lettuce and a ginger paste that almost tasted familiar... but was still not good. The server when she saw we hadn't eaten almost anything asked if we were "in a hurry" and then requested a cash tip. The inside is fine, kind of an odd shaped low energy place.

Pretty disappointed. We eat a lot of sushi and we won't be back. The rolls were pretty but there are so many better places to go in the Springs for better flavor. Plus they asked for their tip in cash which was awkward since we didn't bring any cash with us.

An honest review - Not a 1 star and definitely not a 5 star. Very bland interior and attentive service. The miso soup was good, the 4 sushi rolls we got was better than most, fresh and tasty. (All rolls 50% off) the dinner menu is basic but good. Serving size a little small but the price is better than most. Overall we would come back, good food for less than $20 per person!

The sushi was fishy & the oil they use to fry tempura was rancid, not fresh. The dynamite was so oily & cold, it was disgusting. They remade it only to be the same, oily & cold. When I complained about the fishy taste & how several rolls were inedible, the lady grabbed the plates & while walking away she spoke in her language to the other lady & they both started laughing! That was it, I had enough & that's why I left no tip! You don't talk about the customer IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMER EVER!! Never going back again!

Based on take-out order I will never visit this placeAmbiance/Service: Can't comment as I got a delivery order.Food: Bad. I ordered the chirashi sushi and I can safely say it's the worst I've had anywhere. It came as a mound of rice draped with strips (not not slices) of your most basic types of fish (see photo). Unappealing in appearance and worse still the strips (filets?) were just butchered. A child could do much better. No seasonings or garnishes except for wasabi and pickled ginger. The taste was bland.Price: The same as other places but with the quality significantly lower I felt robbed.There are much better places in town (unfortunately most weren't open at the time).

This place is one of the only restaurants open on Christmas. The server JoJo yesterday was literally one of the best serving experiences I've had at a restaurant in a long time. She was super friendly and funny and you can really feel she cared about the ambiance. The food was AMAZING and a great value. Definitely coming back.

I don't have any complaints about this place. Locally owned and operated. I came here because I was shopping next door and felt like sushi; not planned at all. When we sat down we were happy to see that most of the menu was 50% off to support their grand opening. So we ordered freely and more than we prob would have if there wasn't a great deal going on. All the food was great and came out quickly. It was fairly busy for a Tuesday evening; this was nice to see for the new owners. Grub hub also came in twice while we were eating!
