Everything was delicious and well prepared. Not many people in the restaurant so plenty of space for an enjoyable meal. The staff is super friendly. Price is a little steep, but they deserve it.

We went in right at 5pm for Valentine's Day. We are asked if we had a reservation which we did not, however the host said that as long as we were done by 6pm he could seat us so that all of the reservations which were set to start at 6 would have open tables (we always get the same thing so we were ready to order the second we got seated. It took 15 minutes from the time we were seated for the host to come back by to take our order. I had to flag down a waitress 30 minutes after we were seated to ask her to bring us our waters and appetizers. She said to us that our host had taken our order but nothing had been properly communicated to her so she was trying to get everything right. 1 hour after we were seated, 45 minutes after we ordered our 3 rolls we're finally brought to the table and the food was outstanding. Once the $70 check came out 90 minutes after we were seated 30 minutes after the host told us we needed to be done, we handed our waitress a $100 bill and asked for her to bring back the change to which she replied "we don't have enough change to bring back" ($30 on Valentine's Day when you have a reservation list so long that you needed us gone) yeah okay. That was just our experience without mentioning that the whole restaurant being with less than 1/3 of the tables seated had lovely couples who made reservations and were left for so long without a waitress coming by that they were leaving out of frustration. Or the disgruntled, confused looking around every patron in the restaurant had trying to figure out what was happening. I used to come here often and after reading reviews on this place this morning it seems like this restaurant has been in a tailspin for well over a year. To the owner, you need to take these bad reviews to heart and tighten your ship otherwise I fear that your once loved restaurant will become nothing but a faint memory. The locals on the northwest side of town want restaurants like yours to thrive, by doing nothing which you seem to be doing you are actively destroying your reputation and killing your business. Please do better. Your host (son of the sushi chef), and waitress (with the colorful hair and piercings) were very kind despite the atrocity of last night which is the only reason why I gave 2 stars. They deserve better too.

I've been here several times. Always the same issue. ONE server!!!! We waited 30 minutes to even order food. My sushi sat for 10 minutes before being served to our table. Several tables sat and then left after not being served.

This place is a great spot. LOVE that they do table hibachi, my kids had the best time. Lots of great dinner options + a la carte so you can have multiple yummy things. Sushi options are great as well. Love the Avalanche and Bronco rolls!

Had a great night celebrating my friends birthday here! Our chef Andrew cooking the food was so fun and kind, he was personable and quick too. We went with the couple special to share, and it was just the right amount of food! It came with miso soup, salad, sushi roll, rice, vegetables, shrimp, scallops, steak, and large sake. I gave my scallops to my friend as I prefer the shrimp but it was so much food I had to take some to go! The food tasted so amazing, beyond impressed. The whole table did sake bombs, it was fun and I really enjoyed the sake. Warm sake is very good. All the staff were so kind and made sure we were all taken care of, drinks not empty and plates moved. The experience took about 2 hours, so plan to be there, but it's so worth it, such a fun time! We will definitely be back.

I only get cooked rolls at the sushi spots, so can't say anything about the actual fish quality. But the rolls I've tried were good (Unagi, California, Shrimp Tempura). And their miso soup is somewhat different since they have mushrooms in it. I'd say minus one star because of the ambiance. I would expect a Japanese place that you visit in the evening to be a bit more intimate, with fewer lights and a more "welcoming?" atmosphere. This place is a bit bright and when I was there - it felt more like a quick lunch place than a nice dinner one. Anyway, that's just my taste, still liked it!

I ordered delivery from this restaurant via DoorDash. The sushi dinner was definitely the star of the show. Comes with an iceberg lettuce salad, miso soup (good flavor), Cali roll or spicy tuna roll, and 8 pieces of nigiri. The nigiri was fresh and had ample portions of fish. My only complaint of the sushi rolls is that they were cut too big, making them difficult to eat in one bite. Calamari was pretty standard except that there was cayenne in the batter giving it some kick. Will definitely order again next time I'm in the Springs.

This has been the best sushi I've had since moving to the area. I was seated right away and the server was lovely. She's new and double checked my order was right and that I had everything I need. She was personable and made the experience nice. The music isn't too loud and should be nice in the evening as well. I look forward to coming back again.
