I absolutely loved the friendly staff and the Godzilla sushi roll. My first time here, and they did not disappoint.

3 stars for the service. I'm still unsure how to rate the actual food. If you REALLY REALLY want sushi, and this is your only option, I'd say you go for it. The fish to rice ratio was decent, but the taste of the rolls was subpar, more sauce than umami IYKWIM.The Hawaiian roll was my favorite (very subjective) and that's the one without any rice or loaded with creamy sauces. Did I just go on a bad day? Did I order the wrong rolls? Who knows! They do offer other Asian fusion dishes, and most of the good reviews are for their hibachi, so maybe those are better, but I think COS has better sushi places at comparable prices. It's located in the First & Main strip mall so parking is free and abundant. Good dessert places nearby if you want a palette cleanser afterwards too.

I've been to AI Sushi & Grill multiple times for hibachi now, and I've had great experiences each time.At my most recent visit, I got the steak and scallops, and my husband had the steak and shrimp. The portions were generous. I really enjoy the way they season the meat, veggies, and rice. We also ordered the crab cheese wontons - love 'em!The show is always fun to watch. Pro tip: Do not come on an empty stomach since it can take time to fill a table (each grill is communal unless you have a party that takes up all the seats around the grill) plus the time it takes to put on a show and cook the food. I've definitely been hangry at previous hibachi experiences because I didn't add in the waiting time before the food was ready.I haven't had the sushi here yet.Definitely recommend for hibachi.

The service was average. The food was not good. We got a variety of sushi rolls with tuna, salmon, and eel. The eel was inedible. It was a weird texture and taste a mix of fishy and mud? The texture of the tuna was very off-putting- very mushy and salty. It reminded me a bit of sea urchin (which I am not a fan of). We took some of the leftovers home, hoping a roommate might like it, but ultimately, a lot of it ended up in the trash. It had been almost 10 years since I had eaten here (and I had gotten sick that time). I won't be back.

What a fun place for Hibatchi.Servers are very personable and skilled. Food is excellent at the Hibachi and the presentation was great!Service was a little slow, as it is with most restaurants these days ( understaffing). However, once they got started, it was worth the wait! Soup, salads and main dishes were great (well seasoned) good value! Other patrons were fun. Seating at the hibatchi kept everyone engaged in conversation( something you just don't see anymore). Great for a casual evening out! Hope to revisit again soon!!

This restaurant is at First and Main - there is another AI Sushi in the Springs, but it is not Japanese (no hibachi tables)! This restaurant has the tables (reservations are recommended) and puts on a great flaming show. But, in addition, you can order your meal and amazing sushi in the other side. After seeing hibachi shows for years, it's nice to have the quiet place by the sushi bar and have the entire meal served hot. When we get our grands for a weekend, we do the hibachi table.

Wanted to bring the kids to a hibachi experience, and this spot was close by. We came around 5:00 on a weekday and it was already pretty packed but they seated us right away. Average hibachi meal was around $28-35 dollars. My husband and I ordered the couples special which included steak, scallops, shrimp with fried rice, a spicy tuna roll and Sake for $65 I believe. You do have to wait your turn for a hibachi chef to make it to your section but I felt like they did a good job of spacing out our soup, salad, and sushi roll. The hibachi chef put on a good show and the kids seemed to enjoy it. It wasn't the best hibachi I've ever had but it was decent, a bit pricey.

We had a reservation party of three for hibachi. They sat us with people that were gluten free. We had fried rice, which was cooked with their gluten free portions, our fried rice came out overdone and chewy and crispy. They sat our son not even by the grill. He was between grills. The chef took care of the gluten free patrons and ignored us! They brought out extra fried rice from the back that had green onions which I said no onion! I guess gluten free is respected and no onions is not!

My husband and I visited Ai Sushi for the first time this afternoon for an early dinner anniversary celebration! This place absolutely lives up to the hype! I had a long island iced tea that was strong and delicious! The miso soup and salad were very, very tasty! My husband doesn't really like me so soup, but he ate every drop of it! When the chef came out to the hibachi table, he was so attentive and funny! He made our experience one of a kind! Our food was cooked to perfection! We cannot wait to go back and to also bring our friends and family!
