Active Nutrition Protein Smoothie Bar

The service was AMAZING and the shop was so cute. The vibe was calm and the music was good. The conversation with the employees was so pleasant and they were so down to earth. They're very sweet and the pistachio drink was delicious!

I tried Active Nutrition Protein Smoothie Bar at 3609 #18 Austin Bluffs Parkway in Colorado Springs (next to Wild Wings and behind Fazoli's).They are on my way home from work and I could use energy today! Initial Reaction: I can taste a little of the healthy stuff in the shake. The chocolate chips got stuck in the straw and most of them ended up in the bottom and had to be rescued. Save the chocolate! The tea tastes like fruity tea.While I don't buy foo-foo drinks ... almost ever, as a meal replacement shake that was good. I was hungry going in, it smelled great and then I was really hungry, and ... now I'm OK. I believe that rather than trying to get there via Austin Bluffs' afternoon traffic, I'll go in via American, left on Morning Sun, and right into the parking lot. EDIT: Following up on Shelly T's Yelp review from 7/22/2021, this is affiliated with Herbalife.EDIT: Following up on Kinsey F's Yelp review from 5/28/2020, that said they'd been open for 4 months ... why do they still not have an awning sign in July 2021 over a year later?!?

Visited here for the first time day-- agreed with another reviewer, it is a bit confusing to find! The shop doesn't have a big sign over it (soon, I hope?), but it's right next to Wild Wings n Things and across from Fazzolis!Walked in and the employee was super friendly and explained their (pretty big!) menu. They have different sets of protein drinks (pre and post)-- note that getting smoothies with post-workout protein means you'll get whey :) Ordered the pineapple orange coconut smoothie and wow-- is it weird to describe a smoothie as fluffy? Lol, but for having 17g of protein, this protein felt really light! The taste is great too, no hint of chalky protein at all. Definitely check this place out after your next workout or for any smoothie cravings! They serve cold teas as well, I'll try that next time.

i stop by when im in town for work meetings. always very friendly and great prices! their meals that include aloe, tea, and a shake is the best deal!

Even though it's only been my second time visiting this gem since I've been in Colorado, I can openly and honestly say they do NOT disappoint. It was either choosing to get a brisket sandwich or have a shake for lunch. So glad I chose the shake route because not only did the shake tame my hunger but I felt healthier due to all the added nutrients. Besides the shake though being AWESOME, the staff in my opinion is the true key appeal to this shake shop. Andrea & Myra (pretty sure I butchered the spelling of both names...my apologies) were both pleasant to talk to and both definitely knew what they were doing in terms of smoothie service. They made the place feel genuine. I've been to a lot of nutrition shops, and this by far would be in my top 5 for sure!! 110% show this small shop some love!!

I highly recommend this business. The Smoothie & Tea Combo is delicious and the service was excellent. Also, they have awesome Protein Donuts.

Wow!! This place is delicious. I had the blueberry muffin shake and it tasted like I actually was eating a real muffin. I will be coming back. The service was awesome and the lady helping me really explained the menu so I was comfortable ordering.

This place is good when they actually choose to be open. I have gone a handful of times in the morning around 7:15 (they open at 7) and it is completly blacked out in there/not open. Shows a lack of professionalism. Not reliable.

This was really good! I needed something healthy today and found it here. A very helpful attendant made suggestions based on my desires and I ended up with a delicious and nutritious shake. The place was clean and welcoming.

Been here a couple times since reopening, absolutely awesome experience every time. Christina and Andrea are very welcoming and have never had anything I didn't love!!
