I'm a fan of pawn shops, because they get lots of interesting bits and things that ain't on the shelf otherwheres. The folks at ACME had done me right in the beginning, too, and I started trusting them. That's the shame of it all - it's hard to fix broken trust. ...And so I'm bummed to the rafters to have to write this, but they blew my trust. Trust is a YUGE deal for old-fashioned fellers like my old self. When I give it, it's got value.Long story short? In dealing with some of the employees, we'd come to an agreement on a purchase. Then a manager - Dave - started fiddling with the deal, and before you know it, the price had gone up (several times, by hundreds of dollars) and what was included in the deal had gone down (by hundreds more), on top of multiple monthslong delays. Moreover, that selfsame manager had been cool to my face before trying to pull a fast one behind my back. Common parlance would refer to it as a "dick move".Other ACME employees tried to salvage things, but the deal was so broken by Dave that the only thing left was the death of a sure sale (with guaranteed profit on both sides of the ledger) and several other planned purchases.Now, problems like this rarely start at the bottom - a bad employee can be fired - but when a manager takes liberties with customers, who's got the mustard to cut him? That sort of disrespect to regular buyers is cancerous to an organization, especially a family-owned small chain like ACME.As long as ACME refuses to get their house (or their Dave) in order, they're going to keep losing deep-pocketed long-term customers like me (and others - we talk). I came in looking for a deal on some tools. The staff was personable, and very helpful. I didn't buy any new tools, but I did walk out with a fair deal on a guitar, amp and a new pistol. They were very patient with me while I browsed and dickered over several different models. I was pleasantly surprised when they were right upfront about one model being returned for feed issues without me even asking. That kind of integrity feels rare in today's world. Without a doubt, I'll be back looking for more fair trades.

This place is a con do not sell things here. My gf took our ps3 slim 160 gb with 3 controllers 6 games a PlayStation 3 move camera with all cords in great condition and received only $31.00 (customer#18760001) on the bill of sale the employee who con her out of it only say 'LL for name we needed the money for our new born and all they did is fuck is over this place is worst then entertainmart

Worked Daniel getting a fair price squared away on a midi/keyboard player. He did his due diligence to make sure the price was fair and went out of his way to make sure he showed me how he came to that figure. This is not my first positive experience in this pawnshop, but the service there a second to none. Highly recommend.

We are in town on vacation and needed a few movies to keep the kids occupied in the car. They staff was very nice and helpful! We will be back!

I've used them for years, if your complaining about prices from a pawn shop I'd guess you don't need a loan so stop complaining

DO NOT GO HERE. Came here to get a ring appraised and was told it was cubic zirconia and not real diamond and with the silver made the ring only worth two dollars. I brought it to a real jewelry store and my silver is mixed with platinum, and my baguetted ring is real diamonds. The real jeweler showed me how his diamond indictor tool turned green, proving it was real diamond. The gentleman at this place said his tool did not even turn any color hence it was not real diamond. Liars!!! I am so glad I did not listen to you. You would buy my ring for two dollars and then sell it for $200. Crooks!!! What a rip-off.
