ACI Learning offered me a job as an instructor as I was progressing through their program. I was thrilled. While I already held several certifications, I was there to update and exceed my prior knowledge and abilities. I was offered the opportunity to update the very entry level certifications as I began my tenure. I was already preparing the mock-lecture I would need to submit as a teaching candidate. Then this opportunity was snatched away with the send-off that I was unqualified. When I inquired further, I was summarily dismissed and told to come back when I had completed the qualification. I later discovered, by speaking directly to the hire, that the job was given to a white student. I cordially asked him to share his experience. He detailed the exact certifications I was told I needed, and had held for years. Finally, I asked this man, fresh into the industry and confronting the certifications for the 1st time, if he already had his certifications. To which he replied that he was allowed to complete them after taking the job. Naturally I saved every record of this interaction. This company is a bullshit organization, which, in addition to apparently being populated by racists, has no problem failing its promises in supporting a student, contrary to what was stated as their supporting role in my education. Calls and emails that went unanswered for weeks, repeated inquiries left unresolved with no follow-up, people who support you leaving the company with no announcement or handoff of the students they support, and their issues, to other staff ....But if half of what's claimed in the self-congratulatory jerk-circle on LinkedIn is true, then one bad review shouldn't matter anyway. Clearly the possibility of a bad report was not of importance when I needed aid.

LeaderQuest has been awesome through my transition from the military. I just retired in September from the Army as a 11B with no computer background. Took there computer user support Specialist course. I was taking a leap going into this field with no background what's so ever in the IT field. LeaderQuest provide me the opportunity to excel in this field. They have dedicated staff to help you find employment once you graduate and they hold study groups providing you the opportunity to get your SecUrity Plus. LeaderQuest has given me the tools and resource to excel in this field.

I was at the end of my military career. So I eagerly sought IT Training for a new career to transition into the civilian market. It seemed at the time this would be a great choice. However once classes started I was already charged $20,000 from my GI Bill to take these courses. So I couldn't stop going. So here's the insult to injury. The actual classes were terrible. Don't get me wrong, they teach, sort of, but not in a conducive way. These classes are not designed for new students. These are refresher courses as the "instructors" painfully indicated at the beginning of each course. One of the instructors even told us that we were all going to fail the actual tests. Now I see why he felt that way. The classes are like drinking from a fire hose. You get an entire semesters block of instructions in 5 days or less. These are power point presentations with screenshots or copy and pasted material texts from the book. Again there wasn't any type of conceptual building blocks provided. It's all advanced material. This school is not for beginners. It's a $20,000 refresher course for individuals that have been working in the industry for years. Instructors had us watch YouTube videos, go through material at a blindingly fast rate and skipping critical data. The instructors teach to time not to standard in order help the students actually learn. There's no mandatory tests at the end of the week or at any point so there's not really anyway the instructors are held to any particular standard. Service members beware of this school! I will be working with the VA to investigate this practice to prevent anyone else from making the same mistake. I may not get my GI bill money back but you won't trick others who have served in any branch of the military. There are other places to go to. If your reading this message, please go talk to the SFL-TAP at any military transition center and ask about the six month course from another company which I cannot mention here. That school teaches you and helps students with job placement.

Do not use ACI. They are money hungry organization. They will do anything for money. Charged me six month of GI bill even though I told them specifically i want to use VETECH so just one day of GI bill. But charged me full six months anyway. They are very shady. People lie to make u enroll here and take your money. These boot camps are just there to take ur money. Trust me rather study yourself and use your GI bill somewhere else.

Excellent instructors who go the extra mile and truly want their students to succeed. All of the staff I interacted with were extremely helpful and personable and I can thank their training for getting into and having success in the cybersecurity industry. Sarah as my advisor was very knowledgeable and essential in navigating all the potential classes and certifications. She guided me to relevant certifications that were best for my career. Ronald was one of the best teachers I had before and not just for certs but of all education I have been through. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I've attended this school and it was nothing but amazing. I was scared at first but George Winn my recruiter was amazing! He gave me the confidence I needed and made the process so easy. If it wasn't for him I would of kept doubting myself. Not only does this school give you the knowledge you need but they give you connections to get where you need to go, even after you finish school. Thanks to Shari and Michelle the employment developers, I've made so many connections and met so many amazing people who are willing to help me get where I need to.
