Ace Loans Pawn Shop

They sold me a non-working scooter and guaranteed it for $250 plus $100 for fixing it. It still didn't work, they ended up reselling the scooter and not refunding my money.They are disrespectful and rude, and I know a lot of other people who have had similar experiences.

I got some extra cash and decided to get my baby girl that electric scooter she always wanted. So I pack her up and off we go to hit pawn shops. My best friend recommended Ace loan and pawn shop on South Academy. As we arrive there and enter the pawn shop awe immediately get this whiff of urine, feces and who knows what else is rotting in that store. There is literally crap everywhere and the clerks were too busy to even look up. I figured, oh well who cares as long as I can find a scooter for my kiddo. As we approach the counter a female and male employee were arguing and the next thing that came out of the males filthy mouth was fu** this and fu** that to the female employee. The lady then screamed back at him in all kinds of curse words. I immediately stopped in my step and looked at the personnel working there (mind you I had my 12 year old daughter with me). Another employee looked at me and grinned with his toothlesstrap and said "ummmmmmm guys, watch your language" I myself are not a stranger to cursing, but just won't do it in front of my child and especially not in front of other children. Needless to say, I won't go back to that outhouse anymore.

I have come into this shop on several occasions and I always find exactly what I am looking for at a fantastic price! All the employees are very helpful. I was looking for a certain ring and they helped me find the most perfect ring at a killer price! The store has just about every tool you could possibly use along with gaming systems and accessories and tv's. They have vacuums and even movies! I always check out Ace before going elsewhere! The whole team is very willing to help me find what I'm looking for.

The pawnshop on south academy would be booming of the owner would keep money there. I've been in there numerous times only to be turned away because the owner won't bring them operating money, not just once I have seen 3 and 4 days without money,or when people picks up their pawned items make them give cash back. No cards . You giving them cash make them pick up with cash.

I work in Denver and live in Eastern CO. I saw that this place had some studio monitors for sale. I couldn't make it to the store in time due to my schedule. So my wife went to go take a look at them and purchase them. Given as she is not very experienced with audio equipment, the csr gave her a 2 week cash back warranty signed and dated. The speakers purchased were a pair of KRK RPG2 8". As soon as I plugged them in I knew they weren't any good. They are built for a solid bass response. My pc speakers have more low end than these two together. Nathan Vatcher the csr tried to tell me that this model did not come with low end! How are you going to tell me that a studio monitor has no low end!? These are powered 8" subs. When my wife tried to return them within the 2 week period; Nathan and his supervisor made my wife feel like a fool. They did not honor their word and kept insisting the product worked. It's funny how they will publicly post a good review but my wife's review is nowhere to be seen. Since they swear that the speakers worked I let them know that I would gladly purchase the same make and model and take them into their store for a test. They never responded.

Horrible place, avoid at all costs. They sold us a tv with wii u in bundle deal on Saturday. Took tv home and hdmi slots didn't work. The next morning sound was going out. Called on Monday and was told to bring back and they would exchange it. We got there and of course it was either down graded or they were trying to upsell. The "security" guy said no worries, come back later he had a ton of stuff outside he would take care of us. We came back a couple of hours later and again it was an upsell of 130- 180 dollars. I asked if there was any way they could go lower seeing how we made a special trip from Canon City and he goes on to tell me how he drives all over so the answer is no. The difference is, we are the customer returning due to an issue resulting from the purchase from their store. He could tell we were getting upset, so offered our money back. We said yes. This guy then comes back and says in order to do that we have to drive back and get the wii u as well, even though there was separate prices listed for each item. I am blowing up at this point as they are over considering on how much to lower the value to do some shitty refund. Needless to say I am stuck with a tv with volume going in and out. The hdmi comes and goes as it pleases as well. This is their version of customer service. Not to mention the fact that you will be waiting forever for them to help you. And when they do finally get to you, you are made to feel like an inconvenience. Please save yourself the time and DO NOT GO HERE, PLEASE.
