Ace Hardware at Austin Bluffs

I've always had good service from this location and the people are always helpful and nice. I usually come here for speciality items and they hardly ever disappoint. The store has that small town feel to it that I really like and you don't get lost looking for things like you might in the bigger hardware stores. The pricing are comparable to the bigger stores too. Those things alone are of great value to me and will keep me coming back.

Impressive service and follow-through at ACE on Austin Bluffs. I bought a pricey snow shovel a few days back. After 45 minutes of use, the bolts started to come apart as did the shovel. I brought it back to ACE. They not only immediately replaced the shovel with a new one, but they also took it to the back and made sure all the bolts were securely tightened...all with a smile. Love it when a hardware store stands behind the products they sell, and the customers they serve.Well done ACE!

I was just there looking for some specific hardware in the hardware area for nuts and bolts. I certainly could have used some assistance. The employee that obviously was manning that area was a tall, older white guy with a long grey beard and pot belly. He sort of looked like a mean Santa Claus. I say mean because he did nothing to help me. He didn't approach me while he was not busy just standing there. When he did look at me it was more of a dirty look. But as soon as any white people entered the area he was quick to help them. Then they would leave and again he would not ask me how I was doing and if he did make eye contact, it was a look of hatred.I'm a Hispanic Army Veteran and I will not tolerate this sort of attitude from an employee at a national chain.So if you're not white, don't be surprised if you are treated like a second class citizen by at least this employee in this store.3640 Austin Bluffs Parkway, Colorado Springs. Customer Service is outstanding there..I needed a respirator and after stopping at Lowe's, Home Depot and Sherwin Williams,Ace is the place!They had what I needed and the staff there was super nice and very helpful.I picked up 2 air filters and at the register I was told I get one free, since I bought two.Before I could leave the register they guy who helped me with the respirator had a air filter in his hand.You guys rock!! Thanks

I've been shopping at Ace for years, and every time I visit the store, I leave with the hope that this place remains a permanent fixture. I can always count on the personal, helpful attention I receive. And, with a smile.They "Ace" customer service.It only takes one trip to the big box store, where I need a megaphone to get some attention, before I want to run back to Ace. Great job!

I am installing a new bathroom vanity and sink. No matter what I tried I couldn't get the ring to the drain pipe tight for no leakage. Went to ACE at Austin Bluffs and Academy full of frustration. RON greeted me with "How are you" which I replied "Not good". Explained my problem, he listened, led me to plumbing. He then took me back, got a wrench, showed me the huge nut that wasn't moving and ta-da..got home, No Leaks!Thank you RON for being so informed and patient.

The young cashier Layla was very helpful and sweet, she made me feel very welcome! Before I came into the store I was having a hard day but after having our interaction it turned my day back right :)

Excellent service on the phone and in person regarding a window screen frame repair and replacement. It was so nice to be greetedon the phone by a real person who directed me to a young man with the experience I needed.
