Great fun at the ice rink opening! Great family fun! A little small and crowded but worth it!

Stopped here when we drove by and saw an Art Fest, we were happy we did! It was a great open space in the Downtown area surrounded by shops and food. We let the kids run around on the playground for awhile and stopped nearby for mochi and donuts!

This is a small but very cute park off of Nevada street downtown. They're in the process of building a playground and there's an area for kids currently that shoots out water (no idea what that's called). There's a nice path going around and through the park making it a great destination for a post dinner stroll. While walking through I noticed a lot of couples enjoying picnics! The tree coverage provides plenty of shade and it seems like a fairly safe/family friendly park downtown.

Great play structure that is unlike other playgrounds. Bathrooms are available but not water fountains. Arrive early for parking.

This park has so much to offer every season all year long, right in the heart of downtown! We just recently visited for the tree lighting and ice skating! We had such a blast! We also love coming in the summer for the splash pad!

This park is beautiful and has a lot of potential. It's also a fun idea that there is ice skating right in the middle of downtown. Whenever my husband and I went we didn't have the best experience but the staff that was at the register and got us our skates were super nice. The bad part was that the other patrons were being really careless with the ice so huge chunks were missing and it felt kind of dangerous. The ice skates themselves are pretty worn down. But they offer a military discount and there is a small stand from story coffee co in the tent by the rink that offers coffee, hot coco, and hot apple cider. They also offer events in which kids can skate with local hockey teams which I think is fun and special. More about the park it's self. It has a nice stage, unique works of art for selfie or picture opportunities and benches to relax. Just be a little alert of the presences of shady characters.

Ice skating here was lame. We paid for the two kids to skate. Went around to get the skates and received terrible attitude. The guy at the window just stared at us. Didn't say anything. So we asked for skates. And he proceeded to mock us by yelling to his coworkers, "hey guys, they're here for skates! Weird." After mocking us and throwing some serious sarcasm our way, he gave the kids their skates and told us that they had buckets we could use if we wanted to skate as well. Once we got to the actual rink, they didn't have the heaters on because of the wind. It was not windy. Welcome to Colorado.

Lot's a fun for all!! The only thing I wish they would do at least once during the skate session is, get the Zamboni out there so it makes for a smoother skate. That's the only reason I gave a 4 star.

This place is gross. We went to ice skate here and there was a used condom right in front of the ice rink entrance. I let the security guard know about it but he just looked at me with an attitude like he was a cop. But he wasn't.. he was a rent-a-cop. The condom was still there hours after we left.
