I am so happy that I found Sue. I have been going here for almost a year and each experience has been great. She made the most of my thin hair with a great, layered style. It has body and movement now. You can always tell a great hairdresser by the way they handle scissors and she is a pro. Also, I am always changing my color;Sue listens to my ideas and it comes out great!My daughter goes to Sue to get the Japanese straightening treatment and now she doesn't iron after blow drying her hair.I also like that the place is unpretentious and affordable. We moved to Denver but still come here to get our hair done. Great place!

Best balayage salon in colorado springs! The outside looks a bit sketchy but once inside, it has a home type of environment. Chris is my stylist and he is very informative and knowledgeable before and after doing hair. He is very experience and funny! This will be my go to salon!

Donecia... very good at what she does. I have had my hair cut installed with her, and also a pedicure. My first professional pedicure. Highly recommend her.

This was the worst haircut I've had in 15 years. I'm devastated. They ruined my hair. Avoid this crappy hole in the wall "salon". They didn't even offer a wash. I got 4-5 inches taken off without any rinse. There was no one there but me and the only "stylist" was completely Unqualified and didn't seem to understand what I wanted and absolutely butchered my hair. I've never been more upset with a haircut. I am insanely disappointed.

My Hair Color Has Always Been Difficult To Achieve & She Got It Exactly Correct At My Very First Appointment With Her. I Also Got A Japanese Straightening Which Turned Out Better Than I Imagined. She's The Sweetest Lady Ever, She'll Go Above & Beyond To Make You Happy. I Won't Go To Anyone Else For My Hair Needs. She Is The Very Very Best & I Highly Recommend Her.

A Zen Salon spa and salon is my go to place for beautiful haircuts and color creation. I am ALWAYS so happy with my hair! Sue has over 30 years of experience in the beauty industry, and will give you a beautiful new look. I first met Sue 5 years ago when I moved to Colorado Springs. At the time, I was pregnant, bored and also hormonal and decided to cut my own hair using a method I saw on YouTube.com! (The pony tail method used to create layers!) Needless to say it did not turn out well and I ruined my long hair, it was a mess! Frantic, I called her up, and although she was closing soon, she heard the desperation in my voice, and she agreed to help me fix it! She did a beautiful job as you can see in the pictures below. I am so happy I found Sue, because she is wonderful and kind, and very talented! My hair is long and blond now and she knows exactly how to make it pop so pretty with highlights! The color is light champagne blonde I get so many compliments on it! She listens to my needs, makes sure I am comfortable in the chair, And talks to me like a friend. We have great conversations together! The salon is conveniently located and has a very nice atmosphere. Sue is very fair in her pricing structure, and she is flexible with her scheduling. I highly recommend Sue at a Zen salon and spa. you will be very happy!

I found Zen Salon and Spa thru a simple internet search after moving to the Springs recently. Chris is awesome. He is incredibly detail oriented and the highlights he does lasts twice as long as any other stylist I've had. I highly reccomend.

I just moved to town and dreaded looking for a new hair stylist! Today was my lucky day.... I had an appointment with Chris at Zen Salon and he exceeded my expectations! Chris was a pleasure to talk to. He cut my hair with ALL my requests and concerns in mind and he gave me really good advice. Chris is a professional in every way. He really knows his business. I love my new hair cut and I'm so glad I found Chris. Highly recommended!P.s. I'll be going back for color soon.
