A Likely Story Bookshop

I'm so sad to say I walked into this store for the last time today. It will be missed as today is their last day open. If anybody is out shopping today, they are selling at 40% off and they still have lots of books to browse.

I'm a sucker for small local bookshops and this one was no exception. While waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant my two year old pulled me into this shop mostly because of the Peppa the Pig in the window, but it was a welcome diversion while we waited. The shop is very cute, filled with books for just about anyone. We of course picked up a Peppa book and had a lovely little conversation with the woman who runs the store. All in all a great experience and would absolutely recommend if you are a book lover!

Love this bookstore! Carefully curated selections, great children's area, a bloom bar in the back, and they will order anything! So thankful to have found this little gem.

So glad to find this amazing book store on Rio Grande, near all my favorite downtown restaurants. On my first trip in I bought a wonderful illustrated book on birds and a biography of Edith Wharton, and the owner very helpfully ordered a brand new book that hadn't yet reached the shelves. A beautiful experience.

I love this store. Small and wonderful staff to help you find the perfect book. I could spend hours here.

We love this bookstore and visit whenever we are downtown. So many great, yet hard-to-find, books. My kids adore this store, and though they are avid readers, they always find something here they haven't yet read. (The grown-up book selection is also awesome)
