This is my second time at 4ur ranch. Everything was great, but the food was SO disappointing. I think they got a new chef, because the food is not nearly as good as our last trip. It was such a significant difference, that I had to write a review and let others know. I think the new chef is named Blake Bond. He must be new at this, because our food was cold and bland. The meat was so hard in parts that it actually took a crown off that I had permanently placed before our trip. This place is expensive, and there are just too many other amazing places to go. I would have given the chef another chance, but he came out after dinner, and seemed so offended that someone would dare say they weren't satisfied. They really need a new chef!! And quick!!

Fantastic experience. Everyone needs to take the time to come here at least once in their life. Amazing scenery, full of activities, perfect food and just an overall fantastic experience.

4UR Ranch is a Fly-fishing dude ranch that will blow your socks off. This Fly-fishing resort has a number of miles of the Goose Creek that flow into the Rio Grande. Great place to take the whole family. The food here is great! The service is top notch as well. The ranch is 'catch and release' for the fly fishing, except on the small pond they have. An example of the customer service is a s follows. One morning I got up before daylight. Went down to the pond, cast a small imitation fly over the bank before dawn and caught a nice rainbow trout. Cleaned the trout and brought it back for the head chef to cook for breakfast. That my friend was the best breakfast I have ever had in my life. Fresh trout with eggs was top notch! I am big into catch and release, but to have had one great breakfast like that in my life time was truly priceless! The down side: They think so much of them self's that they over charge even on the gratuity, they lump it together. I would recommend the 4UR ranch, but bring your wallet.

Incredible culinary experience delivered by an enthusiastic staff all week long! Known as a family destination with world-class fishing, the 4UR Guest Ranch has evolved since our family started visiting in the early 70s through an expanded list of activities and the perfect balance of optional events and downtime to recharge your energy! The crew of fishing guides delivered an enjoyable and productive fly-fishing experience all along the Goose Creek waters! Thanks to Aaron and Robin for leading your staff to provide our family another memorable vacation!

We visited the 4UR this past September, just in time to see the Aspens at peak fall colors. The view of the San Juans from the ranch is spectacular. I hadn't ridden a horse in years, but the staff (and the horse) were both very paitent and helpful. Delicious food and clean, lovely ranch accomadations. The highlight of the trip was the pool filled by the mineral hot springs. We're already planning another trip.

4UR Ranch was the perfect vacation! The food is delicious, and there is a good variety. From coffee never go hungry. They will even make up a killer box lunch for you to take with you wherever you go if you're going to miss lunch at the main lodge. The staff is amazing. Polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile to make your stay great. The vacation was a gift for my husband who loves to fish and ride horses. I had never fly fished or rode a horse, so it was all new to me. Damon and Kate were terrific in finding the perfect horses for me, teaching me how to ride, and making me feel totally comfortable and safe (I actually got up to a trot....yahoo!!!!!!). I had a fly fishing casting lesson, and then off we went fishing. My husband caught tons of trout and the setting was just so beautiful it left me in awe. To top it all off, we got massages and soaked in the mineral hot springs to complete the perfect vacation. I'd like to thank Aaron and Robin for making us feel so welcome and we will definitely be back!!! waiting out on the porch in the mornings when you wake up, to the Tasting Menu dinner, you'never go hungry.
