The staff is helpful, professional, & knowledgeable about everything I've ever asked. I've been to the store at least six times in the year since I found it despite the pandemic. They follow the mask mandate and customers do too! They have lots of good inexpensive books, 25 cent books, free books, and regularly priced used books in every genre! They go through the books people bring them and price accordingly ( popular ones are priced higher than ones that won't sell quickly or ones that may not sell or are not good to excellent condition may be 25 cents or free) The owner has a great attitude and treats people with authenticity and empathy. My service dog in training was treated respectfully and in a legal manner (sadly this doesn't happen everywhere--the nearby Safeway tells me I can't bring her even though she has never misbehaved there & it is illegal because she's an ADA Service dog!) The people who work in the bookstore always know where the book I ask about will be located and almost always know if they have a specific book I ask about by title, despite the fact that they have thousands of books and they stay busy selling books constantly due to their great prices, stellar sense of what people will actually purchase, great customer service, and clean environment! People bring in books constantly and I believe they give trade credit for books you bring in as well as cash for the more popular( & easy to sell) books. Anyone who purchases a book or books gets to pick out books from the racks outside that are 25 cent books for free as they leave! I absolutely love this used book store and recommend it to anyone who loves books and wants to support small businesses!

Probably my favorite used books store in the Springs! The owner's really friendly and he remembers the books that I'm looking for. Im there pretty much every week to support the business. Great selection of books, too!

A great used bookstore. It's big, clean, organized, and very helpful staff. Their prizes are very reasonable. They have just about any book genres you could think of. The only reason for four stars vs. five stars is they don't have a computer generated list of books currently in stock. I will definitely be back.

Pretty cool little store. I enjoyed strolling the aisles and looking at their selection. I left with a couple of interesting books for a great low price. Got 2 books for $3.75, that is really hard to beat! Probably not likely to find highly sought after books like the Harry Potter series, but there is always a chance. Great place. I will return and will recommend anyone interested in getting books for a great price to check it out.

Great selection of books for less. My wife comes here for classics. I like the setup inside and how organized it is.

I stopped here recently on a whim and I'm glad I did. I was looking for a particular author, which I didn't find, but as I was on my way out of the store, the person at the front desk asked what I was looking for. I told him and he was able to find it right away. The price was very reasonable. I will be back but next time I might ask for assistance when I walk in since they are really knowledgeable about books and about the store!

Discovered this randomly today and very happy! Will be back. Appreciated how organized the store was. Not a ton of current "popular" books but so many to look through!

I love reading so I need a good place that I can find books that are out of print. This shop has a calm feeling and and adventure to find just the right read for your mood. A huge selection of books and the price is the best part! It is super fun as you never know what gem you might find. I love supporting local book stores like this. They have a huge selection of kids books in the back. It is a great place for old and young to find books at a low cost. It is a hidden spot that is worth a visit if you love to read. You won't always find books that are just out but you never know!!!

Reading is my obsession. Other than diving into a good book, searching the stacks for my next read is my favorite thing, and 2 Buck Books is my go-to spot in Colorado Springs for it. They have a great selection, their prices are the lowest you will find anywhere, and Ben and Nick are always good for a recommendation or just great conversation. I can't recommend 2 Buck Books enough!

I've visited this place everytime I come to the Springs. You find little gems at a reasonable price.
