I love some good customer service and they have it!!! I came in the middle of the week so it was not crowded at all. I was enthusiastically greeted when I walked through the door. The food was good. I got collard greens, sweet potato soufflé , and green beans. The soufflé was a little different than what I'm used to. All in all I would return. There's a little indoor seating.

This was my first visit. I hear their commercials on the radio all the time. Full disclosure I normally go to a different cafeteria style restaurant in Tucker. The restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. But there was something missing...aromatic smells. Even this was noticed by someone else in line. Then finally seeing the prices I was floored. For a non table service restaurant the prices are high. I ordered meatloaf, collards, Mac & cheese with cornbread. The meatloaf was super salty. I never think something is salty. And in an unusual way it was tasteless. I know they don't go together. The collards were bland. And the mac & cheese was underwhelming. I really wanted to like this restaurant but I can't honestly say that I will ever be back. I wish them well and hope there are improvements.

This new location is gorgeous! Upon walking in the restaurant, you are immediately greeted and the decor looks green...airy and full of plants. They play really catchy music from the 60's/70's.Food is displayed cafeteria style and have a few different sides to choose from. There is a variety of veggies and meats and a few starches. Everyone who worked there was friendly and accommodating. The young lady behind the counter checked on my food twice and the cashier apologized for the delay which was appreciated.I ordered a whiting fish dinner at 1:15 and I didn't get my food until 1:40pm. I don't mind waiting at all, but it would have been nice to have been told that because I would have ordered something else.Sadly to say, I waited all that time for fish that looked great but had absolutely NO FLAVOR on it at all. No amount of hot sauce or tartar sauce helped. The macaroni and cheese was just okay and my cabbage was spectacular. I wish I had a just ordered a plate full of cabbage. I will go back again just for veggie and if I get anything else, I will get whatever meat is already prepared especially if it's during the weekday around lunch.

I came here with my 87 year old dear aunt since she loves this genre of food. The service was friendly and fast . Ambiance is nice with clean tables and plants everywhere .Also, great soul music plays while you chomp down on your "soul food". The fried chicken was the proverbial bomb! My sides were very good fresh green beans cooked in fatback and the best steamed cabbage I've had in some time.Also the cornbread was sweet and delicious. I highly recommend this place if you get a hankering for country aka soul food.

Today my coworker and I enjoyed a delicious lunch at Collard Green Café's new location. I ordered the pork chops, lima beans, and macaroni and cheese. The pork chops were delicious and the Lima beans were very tasty and the mac & cheese was cheesy. I really hope this location does well being that it is right next-door to the DeKalb County School District's central office and surrounding hotels.

This place is a must try. Walked in and got greeted by all the workers. The atmosphere is family friendly and the food was super good. Everything tastes so good. I couldn't find one thing wrong about anything. We ate everything and still talking about how good it was.

Stopped by today 3/3... line long but moving!! Do believe owner was serving entree... Super friendly ... food really good and hot... my catfish was made to order so I had to wait a few but didn't mind... and portions were outstanding!!Peach cobbler little to sweet for me but overall great first experience!!!SN... super hot in place ... I recommend carryout!!

The service was exceptional. The a plate of SoulFood I purchased for 27.00 bucks just did not equate for me. Turkey leg was dry, veggies were fine but plastic utensils and plastic plates are under par.
