Wild Mushroom "Vol au Vent"

First came where Colette just opened years ago, as I kinda dropped the ball on V-day dinner reservations, but found one here (since they were so new). Wish I came here a lot more afterward, especially now that they've changed the concept. The vol-au-vent was probably my favorite starter, with a velvety but flavorful mushroom sauce to go along with puff pastry. The restaurant does the French classics well, such as a well-executive French onion soup, a rich boeuf bourguignon, and a non-runny crème brulee. The entrees are generally excellent as well, with my favorite being their seafood dishes (bass, sole, or scallops).Service is excellent here, with friendly and accommodating staff. Sometimes, I've requested a different table (especially if it was for a special occasion), and they've already obliged. Admittedly, probably because it's French bistro food is why I didn't come, like, every week. While the food is excellent, it's quite rich. I felt like going to the gym right afterward. I'm skeptical about a "southern small plates" concept, but hopefully the restaurant will keep what was best about this spot.

Came here for Mother's Day brunch and we had a decent time! The decor of this restaurant was really nice - definitely felt very on theme for the name. The place was PACKED given the holiday, but the service was quite quick and efficient despite all of that - pretty solid experience over all.The food was okay - not very French honestly, but it was decent for brunch food. I thought it was all tasty, the serving size just was small for the price honestly. The sandwich I got was comically small.Overall, I probably wouldn't return, but we had a good experience overall. The food just isn't enough to warrant a return, but for a decent brunch experience, this was fine!

Even before stepping foot in the restaurant, I was already treated to their outstanding customer service. I had an issue with the gift card that was gifted me and they helped me over the phone. We came in on Sunday for an early dinner and were surprised to find we were the only patrons! It was lucky because we hadn't made a reservation. We were seated right away and I must say the dining room is really lovely and definitely "instagrammable", chandeliers, pink velvet sofas and plush chairs. Very reminiscent of restaurants we saw in Paris. Our waiter was friendly and accommodating. There was an issue with the steak frites we ordered for the kids (we asked for sauce on the side, the sauce came on the steak) and it was taken care of right away with apologies. The lemon sole was outstanding, rich, delicious sauce with the right amount of brightness. The beef bourguignon was well cooked and the wine sauce was rich. As expected the crème brûlée was delicious and so were the macarons. Absolutely recommend and am so glad we were gifted the gift card!

Beautiful place for brunch with tons of natural lighting and holiday decor! There was some confusion where we didn't get exact items and styles we ordered but everything was great overall. It is also a bit noisy inside and hard to hear during conversation. The French onion soup is on the smaller side and a bit sweet but it has a good amount of cheese, bread, and onion. The eggs Benedict on a croissant is well balanced and tasty. The mushroom kale buckwheat crepe with duck is extremely filling and flavorful - the rolled crepe does make it less crispy than the typical square one though. The side items are also cooked well: the potatoes are seasoned and crispy, the salad has great textures and a bright dressing. The coffee drinks (lattes) are quite decent and come in very large mugs.

I have been to Colette a few times and have never been disappointed. But last night going to enjoy their wine series was definitely one of my favorite times here. Colette the May was offering a wine tasting and food pairing event. I attended this event and it was fun and informative! We were seated at a beautiful table outside and were well taken care of. The food and wine pairs were incredible and the small plates were more than enough to be filling. If you haven't had a chance to attend this event definitely try to! Every time I go to Colette I am always impressed with their changing menu. It's always different when I go and I am never disappointed.

When I walked in I thought my wallet was in for a beating cause the decor and vibe and aesthetic was beautiful, which means I might been paying for that with my benjamins but surprisingly I found the prices a pretty good deal relative to the amount of food. My Benedict tasted great and particularly the ham had a lot of flavor. We also had the crunch toast and really enjoyed the cream. Berries tasted fresh. Service was fast and our waiter was friendly. Would come back when feeling brunch and a little bougie.

A decent spot for brunch, service was quick and attentive. We had a big party and they served us quickly! A very loud environment if you are okay with that. The food was decent but prepare your wallet!

Went there for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Reservation was pretty easy to make. The place was bigger than I thought. Pretty seating and good ambiance. The waiter went over the brunch menu and gave recommendations as well.As for the food, the portion is definitely bigger than expected compared to regular brunch plates. I loved the crepe and all the fillings. The only thing to complain was that the crepe is a little thick overall; probably because it was buckwheat. My friend got the classic egg benedict and it was the standard. I like how it was the croissant instead of the regular muffins.Overall, a cute place with a good atmosphere. Would love to go back to try their dinner menu.

Our server greeted us with Merry Christmas, while festive music played in the background. Our single cheese Semi Firm - Invierno was served with a generous portion of accoutrements and although there are no glamour shots, the French Onion Soup and Ricotta Gnudi special were delicious. The Beef Wellington was tender & flavorful, accompanied by smashed potatoes that were a hit! Some of the frites were crispy, but inconsistent. The Christmas Santagria had a nice balanced flavor. Overall it was tres magnifique!

Ordered fries, mussels, Brussels, risotto, tagliatelle, potatoes gratin. In saying it, I feel like we needed more diversity from 2 potato and 2 pasta but I don't regret it. Everything was good, especially the risotto. We were all curious how it was going to come out (chunks of butternut? Butternut as the sauce?) and we're all surprised because we were all wrong -- tiny pieces of butternut. The gratin was a bit bland and the brussels could have had more of the sauce. We also got the profiterole and Nutella mousse, both of which were fantastic.
