Rare 5 Star Review - Fantastic SubsSetup: Small old beaten looking school sandwich shop with many specialty sandwich combinations. This is a rare 5 star review for an indiscript sandwich shop serving what might be the best Italian Sub I have ever eaten. Top quality Italian meats sliced perfectly thin and assembled on a perfect sub roll with veggie and hots marinaded in a tangy vinegar dressing. I really don't know how it could be made any better. You wouldn't even believe when you see the place that they create sandwiches this good. It's ridiculous. I saw them making other sandwiches with chicken cutlets and they looked amazing too. An absolute must stop, but beware of the parking situation. It's tight around this neighborhood. Thanks

I'm from the NY/NJ area so I appreciate a well done sub. The owner here is putting out the best I have had in New England. He gets in at 7am to bake the bread himself everyday, prepares each sandwich by hand, cuts the meat after your order, and only uses high quality products. He also makes other homemade items that he will have out like a special such as soups, hot peppers, apple strudel, pizza, etc. My favorite sub is the Fall Special. One of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend going here. Cash only, atm next door at 7/11.

This place is awesome! I've passed this place on my daily walks several times.I always peek in. One day I wanted to go in...said cash only.The next day I made sure I had cash! I bought the Italian sub! It was so delicious !!! Highly recommend! It's loaded with fresh ingredients, the meats, Provelone cheese and other condiments go so great on an awesome Italian bread that I can eat by itself! It's worth the $10.00 dollars! You can share it! Ummm I did save half for my hubby and he enjoyed, my other half hours later! It was so good I already had a plan that I was going back the next day! Put my cash aside! Next day: I went back and bought the Italian sun again! It's was if I was on yesterday...sub was the same greatness and same amount of fixings too! because I didn't share! I ate one half at lunch time, around noon and the other half around 3:45p!Enjoyed every bite!I think I'm going to try something different, hopefully next week for my lunch! There is a very good presentation to this place too.I want to try the potato salad, looks great and those brownies too! I really don't understand why this place doesn't have a line from the door way down the street! I have to remember we're doing things in a different way during the pandemic. Let's be safe!Another important part: this place is clean and neat and signs with the menu items is very clear and large enough to read! I wear glasses The place does close at 3p I believe. Great Italian sub. Everything made on-site m. Pan fried chicken cutlets. Bread is made / fresh as well. One of the best sub shops around.

I was told by a couple of people that the place had excellent meats, Italian foods and great subs. ALL TRUE! HOWEVER HERE'S MY THOUGHTS I am a very seasoned, senior citizen of proud Italian ancestry and a frequent traveler to Italy. So I am very infused Italian. I was absolutely shocked at the owners lack of civility. I pray to God he's NOT ITALIAN!!!I know what cantankerous people are like, "I'm Italian". I have relatives and friends that go at it like wolves. However, they know each other. They have a love/hate relationship. This guy is one VERY ANGRY SOUL that is one step away for a much needed exorcism. I was literally shouted at and verbally attacked at the outset for not ordering correctly? I don't care about his politics even though it's in your face upon entering. Take pictures it's beyond beyond. I am there to experience good homemade foods. I am embarrassed I didn't say "F" this place and walk out. I will never go back again.I've read the reviews and you're right his food is good. HOWEVER, in metro Boston there are hundreds of Italian mom and pop places to visit that have equally or better quality food and POSITIVE ITALIAN MANNERISMS. I am not a soft shell at all however this owner is an embarrassment and stain to Everette, MA and if he is Italian I am even more embarrassed. PLEASE WE ARE NOT ALL THE SAME AS HE.For those reviews that said his food is good so ignore his mannerisms, I personally can't buy into that service. So One Star Review because a food service is based on every aspect of service. His very cantankerous personality destroys the artistry of his food preparation. So sad...so sad, indeed!!We then drove 7 Minutes to Barbiero Italian Food Store by Stefano Barbiero, and were FULLY SATISFIED and Will RETURN for an authentic taste of Italy and Italian culture. It's well worth the drive for EVERYTHING ITALIAN!!!Ciao

The Italian subs here are amazing! Everything is fresh. The person taking orders, making the food, and serving is the owner! Will be back for more.

Great place and atmosphere. The subs are huge and the guy working there is really nice! I usually go in after doing my laundry down the road, I recommended the super steak sub.

I rarely post critical reviews, but I watched the guy handle cash from and make change for the the customer before me and then make my sub (including slicing the deli meat into his bare hand) without washing his hands (or using hand sanitizer or putting on gloves). That's just disgusting. For some reason, maybe because I would have felt bad just walking out after ordering something, I still paid for and took the sub...but it went right into the trash. It's a shame, as the cold cuts looked high quality and the menu very good. I won't be back.

This place is awesome. Yes, owner goes to the beat of his own drum. If its busy, he has no time for pleasantries. He's not there to chat, he's there to make subs. I notices that people who gave poor reviews because of politics still said his food is good. The meats and cheeses are sliced to order, you're not gonna get much better than that. He also makes fantastic soups. I'll usually get the italian, cant go wrong with that. If you go, bring cash, and know what you want to order. you'll be happy you went there. Parking is tight, thats one thing to keep in mind, but yeah, this place is awesome.

The greatest. This man is a hero. He does it all by himself....and the best part is he's not some America hating liberal piece of shit. If you Don't like it GTFO
