The nicest owner. The nicest customer-waiter Kevin. The most delicious Denver omelette and wheat toast with strawberry jam. Nice fresh black coffee. Cozy little space. I can't wait to be in Evered

One of the few breakfast restaurants that opens up at 6 am. This small diner located on Colby Ave is an awesome restaurant that has many regulars who come in every day. I love the vibe and feel of this place. The owner is so nice and was doing all of the serving and cooking. I think his name is Mike?Prices are really reasonable for a full breakfast. Mike cooked up my basic breakfast scramble up real fast. Good coffee which he kept topped off during the entire meal. I'll be adding this hidden gem that has been right in front of my nose for so long to my rotation of breakfast cafes to visit!

If you're looking for the best traditional breakfast menu with good portions in a classic car diner, then you've hit the jackpot. The owner is kind, courteous, and a fabulous cook. The diner is small but very clean as is the kitchen. Whether you love eggs & bacon, cornbeef hash, or French toast with a large OJ, Colby Diner serves a great breakfast for the right price. Grateful to have found this little jewel! You won't be disappointed.

Ordered burger dip and fish and chips. It was ok. Imagine your high school cafeteria came out with a fresh batch of fried stuff, that's what this is. I came for the breakfast stuff but they stop serving breakfast at 10:30am. Good atmosphere but unless you are nostalgic about cafeteria food maybe try somewhere else.

Tiny hole in the wall! I will confess, I had found another breakfast spot online and we walked the three blocks from the hotel in drizzling rain to find it "closed due to covid- see you next year" - news flash, it's next year. Fine, because this little gem was RIGHT NEXT DOOR. I could almost hear songs of halleluiah playing in my head as I rushed through the door out of the cold. Did I mention this place is tiny?- narrow length of dining room, with tables along each side of the wall and a counter at the back for to-go orders with the kitchen behind that. Only one table was open- the one just inside the door. Which meant, every time someone came in- I got artic frosted, lol. So, I ordered hot tea to help warm me and a biscuits and gravy breakfast. (my other half said biscuits and gravy in the Northwest??)- let me just say that B&G is known throughout the US now and yes- it was good! Robert ordered corned beef hash breakfast and he cleaned the plate. Testimony of how good it was. Speed of eating is also a thing- when it's just ok food, they talk, take their time and slowly try to eat. When it's good- it's silent shoveling into the pie hole. That's how breakfast was! Definitely a mom and pop show- Robert was admiring all the photo's from the businesses history. Our server was a kind, seasoned woman who went out of her way to be attentive to all of the tables. I ended up happy the other place wasn't open- otherwise I would've have missed out on this little gem.

We had originally planned to eat brunch at a nearby cafe but it was so crowded with no seats. A quick yelp search and we found this place- decided to give it a try and WOW. Firstly it's such a cute small diner with nostalgic pictures over. Second the prices are so reasonable. Third- the food is delicious!!! It's typical diner food but executed really well. The pancakes were SO fluffy. The bacon was high quality. And the hash browns were crispy tasty. My picky AF husband who's in the industry was amazed how tasty everything was. Lastly the service was great- so friendly. It's a husband and wife duo and he's back there doing all the cooking. He's also quite elderly so I was amazed he was back there by himself doing everything. What a great surprise. Loved it- a must try if you ever visit downtown Everett!

Stopped here Saturday morning after browsing at Shack Artists Garage Sale. It was within walking distance and had good Yelp reviews. The is one of the few times where Yelp failed us. The restaurants was very small; only 6 tables (3 seats four & 3 seats two). The decor was nostalgic; the walls were covered with pictures of antique cars. Cook/waitstaff appeared to be husband and wife.We ordered the Denver omelet ($17) and Colby breakfast ($9). Living up to the "diner" name, the entrees were greasy. My hash browns were overcooked. The omelet had decent flavor but smothered in cheese. I watched the waitress make chocolate milk by adding Hershey's chocolate syrup to regular milk.It was nothing special. We can still feel the food in our stomachs 3 hours afterwards. Good to try once but not to return.

We recently tried Colby diner based on all the good Yelp reviews. It's a very small diner, run by a very kind and friendly couple. Very small diner - only 6 tables in total. The local news blared from the TV mounted near the entry, The floors were sticky and needed a good cleaning. Ordered the #1- Classic Breakfast ($15) and it was average. The hash browns were greasy, the eggs were small portioned and the sausage was on the verge of undercooked.
