This places gets better every time! They've been bringing in more pastries, and I've enjoyed each one I've tried. The latest was the Raspberry Croissant, which was super flaky and pleasantly sweet. I was speaking to the owner and the croissants are made entirely from scratch! It's no easy task to get right, and not the most cost effective. Nonetheless, Coffeentalk wants to do it right, and you can taste the difference. I'm still obsessed with the Aloha Latte but ventured out to try to the Horchata, and now it's a close second! The new barista even made some pretty cool latte art, which is always fun to see. If you haven't already, definitely give this place a try for your next coffee date, solo or with another. There's no drive thru though, so unfortunately not going to be the easiest option if you're in a rush. That being said I've never had to wait long for my items! Just means getting out of your car to order.

This is my first time here and it's so delightful. I ordered an iced Aloha latte. The barista said he'd make something else if I didn't like it, but I love the coconut and macadamia nut flavors. I also ordered a raspberry cream cheese muffin and it's so moist and tasty. I highly recommend this place. It's in an uncommon industrial area but it's a nice gem to seek out.

My wife and I enjoy this coffee spot for its casual atmosphere, the quick bites options, and the tasty special iced lattes (this time we had the Aloha and Salted Caramel). Cool to see the roastery in the back near the seating area. Both drinks came out within 5 mins of ordering, we'll definitely be regulars!

Cute little hide-a-way in an industrial park in Santee/El Cajon . You almost need to be in the know to find it. It's located in a warehouse where coffee is roasted and distributed. Very comfortable vibe inside. Great for casual business meetings, conversation and relaxing - except for the airplanes! (Just make sure your computer is fully charged as there are no outlets.) It's near a small airfield which makes it noisy when the airport is active.Had a yummy iced pistachio honey latte. Mom enjoyed a raspberry herbal tea. It smelled good, tastes like regular black tea with a hint of raspberry. We also had a raspberry cream cheese muffin which was ok. Blackery items are from one of their other locations so you know they're fresh. On a Sunday at noon they were a bit light on bakery items but that may be because it's a new location. And, because they're so new, we had the luxury of being the only ones there!Pricing is as expected for gourmet coffee, just a bit more than Starbucks making it pricy but not outrageous. As it's a relatively new, I hope more people find and support it 'cause selfishly, I'd like more food choices! ;-)

Pros: Freshly grounded espresso beans. Friendly staff and excellent customer service. Delicious and creative latte option. Fresh roasted coffee beans made in house for purchase. Cons: Inconsistent hours of operation and late morning opening. Slightly higher than average prices. Unbearable freezing temperatures inside in the mornings. In a nutshell, this is a good coffee shop with minor issues. I have come here multiple times and have always felt welcome and have been given exceptional customer service. The owner is very kind and takes the time to get to know the customers and let them know their thoughts and concerns are heard. I have tried different lattes here and the Aloha is by far my favorite. It is a blend of coconut powder, macadamia nut, milk, and espresso. Perfect combination and the only place I have found where the temperature is to my liking. Not scolding hot, and not cold. It is warm enough that it doesn't burn my lips, but I can drink it right away. A must try!The place is clean, there is indoor and outdoor seating available, and free parking. This place is in a large warehouse, which is why it is freezing inside. I would love to sit and enjoy my coffee but have found the morning cold air uncomfortable to enjoy. I have been here on 3 different occasions at the posted opening time to find this place closed =(. I have even waited 15-30 minutes to see if they were running late but was only disappointed. Other than that, this place is a good place and has a lot of potential. Worth checking out and giving the smaller local coffee spots a try.

The coffee and service is excellent here! The amount of real estate inside is roomy. There is a lot of outside seating but bring your jacket during the winter time. Dedicated parking in front and free WiFi.The inside seating is cozy with a coffee table to lounge and a table to plant your laptop. The indoor seating adjacent to warehouse where you can see the roasting machines, the pallets of burlap bags with the whole coffee beans waiting so the coffee bean processing is legitimate here. There are pastries available here, almond and butter croissants, apple turn over, and muffins. These are satisfying also. The freshness of the coffee won me over. There are also alternative milk options, if you have dietary restrictions. On the bookshelves there are coffee beans available to buy and some specialty coffee cups and containers. This place is easy to get to just off the 52 freeway and close to other shopping stores like target, Walmart, Walgreens, Vons, chic fila and in and out burger. My hook here is the coffee flavor is great, easy to find, friendly staff. I'm willing to pay up for great coffee and this place checks that box!Executive summary:Service:5/5Flavor:5/5Depth of menu:5/5Cleanliness:5/5Good for groups:5/5, outdoor seating is abundant Kid friendly: yesWait time: short

Great coffee and great baked goods. Coffeentalk finally added a small coffee shop at their roastery in Santee. The coffee shop some inside comfortable seating and a very nice patio. I had a cortado with whole milk and an almond croissant. The cortado was very well made and offered a smooth rich flavor and texture. The almond croissant was bliss. It tasted great and had a buttery texture. They did not hold back on the almond ingredient. Great croissant.Service was quite friendly and welcoming. They also offer stuffed spiral croissants.

New place in town. And coffee!! Of course I went to try it out. Like the coffee and the variety they have. Service was nice. Coffee is nice too but I little expensive. Tried one of their pastries too. Was just okay. Very expensive for the quality I think. There is limited sitting inside and plenty sitting outside. I am glad I tried this place. Although, not sure if I willGo back. If you are in the area, please try them out. Happy coffee time!
