Staff was very friendly and helped with a large order of coffee and multiple bags of beans.I got the honey cinnamon latte and it was good but definitely on the sweeter side. I might get it half sweet next time. I haven't tried the beans yet but I purchased a bag after hearing great reviews! Overall, a nice spot to come in and grab a latte/pastry!

i stopped by coffeentalk for a late saturday morning breakfast with some friends. we were able to order quickly and everything came out with ~10 min. the iced tea was good, and i liked that they had multiple blacked tea options. the latte and macchiato were also quite good. the food was good and hit the spot. nothing special, but we always love the classics. we had the açaí bowl and a BLT!

I appreciated this cafe initially (the first few visits), because if was quiet and there were very few customers. It felt spacious and peaceful. However, the atmosphere shifted dramatically during the last two visits. It became boisterously loud and crowded, which is not too uncommon these days for certain cafes. Even with my noise-canceling headphones on, it was hard to bear the excessive chattering of "workers"- to put it in polite terms. I am writing this review, after one of the baristas/cashiers went on and on about something that sounded like a complaint/attack, for at least a few minutes in Spanish. She sounded hysterical, actually (without exaggeration). I wonder what is going on in her mental and emotional landscape. There are only two customers including myself, at the cafe. We have only been quiet and not trying to interact with them, in any sense. I would definitely not count on this cafe again, to provide a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The food and drinks are just mediocre.

Service was friendly! Ambiance is okay, I think their other spots are nicer and more trendy.Lox bagel was basic but solid & hefty.Obsessed with the Açaí Bowl! Had the Nutty Açaí and loved it.Loved the hot chocolate! Honey lavender Latte was good.Tried the virtual circle croissants (Ube & Nutella) they were good but nothing crazy flavor wise. I've definitely better tasting croissants elsewhere but they looked cool. Not super sweet either.Cannoli was solid! Chocolate Mousse Cake was moist, light and not very sweet.

Great alternative to Bux in downtown San Diego. Espresso drinks taste fresh and strong but not bitter - just how I like it. Service was very good both times. The vibe is very basic. The only downside is the high prices.... Recommended!

Our trip to San Diego includes trying new coffee shops. Coffee N' Talk is close to our hotel and has great reviews so we popped in for breakfast. We were not disappointed! Coffee is five-star for sure! W had an almond milk latte, and I had 2% cow since they didn't have non-fat (What?! In the land of the fit and thin beautiful people?!). They roast their beans here and do a fine job.We each had a breakfast bagel--husband had the egg, cheese, and smoked turkey on cheddar jalapeño and I had the veggie on Asiago. Both were good. W's egg looked a bit dry but he liked it, and mine could have used some seasoning. But overall, a good breakfast. Nice place for locals--very dog friendly. Has indoor and outdoor seating. And the pastry cabinet was hard to pass by! The croinuts looked amazing!

What is one place that you can have breakfast and some of the best coffee from the many countries of the world? For the many coffees place and the baristas that I have met with the many some can make the best in coffee drinks and there are those that just want to push products to get to the customer to see if they like the drink. What is the one thing that makes a great coffee place is it he food or is it the customer service? Coffee and Talk is one place that I had come across last month and to see what the location was about when you see a large dining area at the front which many coffee places are full, and the many tables would have people meeting for lunch and outside business meetings. When I had arrived at the coffee and talk, I saw the sign at the front door it was saying they were closing asking the people at the counter they said they were open with two hours before they closed. I looked about the coffee shop with the many displays with the coffee they have to sell there was a small number of sweets they told me they have deliveries in the morning. I told them that I wanted to order a caramel mocha 16oz size that is the large size they sell it was a few minutes the charge for the mocha was $5.40 good price for the location right here on Broadway in Downtown San Diego. I asked them if they were the new location on Broadway Downtown San Diego, they told me they were there for a few months the order was brought to the counter the great taste of the coffee was the best I Had ever tasted with the great taste of caramel in the mocha the best. From the many coffees they prepare with the best flavors its one place to have found the best coffee on Broadway next to the Burgers Bagels located across from the YMCA with the best location. The coffee and the location when you want to have the best in mochas and the best flavor from the many countries is the Coffee and Talk to find the best in drinks is the best in coffees. As a Yelp Elite Reviewer this is one place that had got my attention to find a coffee place that was at the end of B4roadway with the Starbucks that is located right across the street to have a place close by. Coffee and Talk is one place with the large dining area and the outdoor meeting area is one of the best coffee places for the early morning and the lunch areas.

Had a little time to kill between appointments and stopped in for a refresher. The Honey Pistachio Latte was sweet but not in a cloying way; the pistachio came through nicely and there was a deep, rich espresso palate smack. Super friendly, welcoming service made me feel at home.

Wonderful staff and excellent coffee. My husband, daughter and I came in during vacation and got some delicious drinks. I personally enjoyed the pistachio honey latte and he ordered the aloha latte. They also gave me milk for my toddler which was a very sweet thing to do!
