Coffee N Talk - Broadway

Coffee 'N' Talk is the perfect coffee/breakfast spot in downtown. Lattes are great. Food is great. Staff are awesome and friendly. Music is great. If you get Sage, be sure to ask her for some art in your latte. She loves hearts and leaves... but is essentially good at cats!

A surprisingly good spot. I generally don't expect much of the food and coffee offerings in downtown SD, and this spot is a stone's throw from the the Santa Fe train station, set in the ground floor of a typical business building. I tend to think tourist food or quick nibbles for the working crowd.But Coffee N Talk has a large, light and airy interior. The coffees are professionally made and while I wouldn't place their espresso drinks in the first tier, they are eminently serviceable. The food choices are typical cafe offerings, but they provide pretty good value for money. My açai bowl, for example, while $12, was ample in the amount served--surprising given the location. The pastries are also fairly sizable and quite tasty. If I worked in the area, I could easily see this place serving as a regular haunt.So if you happen to be in the neighborhood, check 'em out. No big whoop.

A few city blocks from the courthouse on Broadway. Went to lunch and decided to grab coffee on my way back. Service was super fast. Plenty of seating and perfect for gatherings (much like the name would suggest).They had an orange mocha latte that I got iced and half sweet. Tasted like a liquid version of the orange flavored chocolate oranges (not sure if anyone else remembers those).

This place was perfect. We were looking to get some coffee and a quick breakfast and it was exactly what we needed. Their menu is small and their coffee was delicious.

Visiting the area and wanted to try something new (I Run On Dunkin).Coffee N Talk was in walking distance from our hotel. Upon arrival We ordered a breakfast sandwich, cream cheese raspberry muffin, and a Carmel Macchiato! Everything was excellent! The coffee was exceptional and I really enjoyed the actual flavor of the "coffee!' We sat outside to enjoy the people walking and the beautiful seating area! The service was good really good as well. All purchased food was delicious and out to us. I highly recommend Coffee N Talk! I will definitely try them again!

Back at my fave coffee shop! Got off of work and wanted an iced matcha latte. Make sure you get here before closing at 5pm! If you want to jazz it up, make it a lavender matcha latte and thank me later. Never disappoints.

Hands down one of the best sweet croissants I've ever had, very worth it! Everything else though, not quite as much. The Horchata Latte was solid, the cashier warned us the large had 4 shots. The Turkey and Brie was a massive disappointment for $13. No choice in chips, clearly ingredients sourced from Costco, and disrespectfully small for the price. The servers were kind and patient and the restaurant was clean and pleasant, but they seriously need to reconsider some of their prices/portions.

I see this place every time I come to work and decided to stop by. I didn't know the burritos are microwaved? That's strange. The space was nice and I enjoyed the ambiance. The barista who took my order was very nice but the guy at the bar looked like he did not want to be there. He tossed the burrito in the microwave and made a face. Not sure if I'd come back.

Ive been here a few times. Super nice people work here. The service is excellent. Kenia was super sweet. The salmon toast was excellent.

I come here very regularly, sometimes two or three times in a day. The food is tasty and the coffee is great. Atmosphere is chill and they usually have some good music playing I the background.Sage is usually brewing up the coffee. She is always friendly and makes an excellent cortado and always adds some awesome latte art with the milk foam. Eddie is another employee there that is always a pleasure to deal with. He usually makes the food and is super friendly. He always asks about my day and makes sue that his food is on point. Definitely recommend coming here for both quality product and great staff!
