Coffee & Cone

The service was friendly and fast. It was a bit difficult to find, since it is small and tucked away. I was thinking of getting a coffee but it looked like it probably wouldn't be very good coffee. This place does have fun snow cones (not icee) and ice cream. Great to get a cold treat by the water on a hot day.Well, I gave it 4 stars for what it was and then got a response saying that I should have tried the coffee before saying anything negative. I specifically said I didn't try the coffee but I did purchase other items. I only provide reviews to help people decide where to go. With that sort of a response to my feedback, I'll drop down to 2. I likely would've been willing to give it a try next time with the response up until the perceived attitude that came at the end.

I love small businesses in great locations and Coffee and Cone fits this bill perfectly. I believe this is a family run establishment, and the service is always excellent. My kids love the kids cones, which many places don't offer. I love the licorice ice cream which I know very few people do, but it's my all-time favorite! They also have all the flavors that people actually love, so you can't go wrong here. They also offer specialty foods so it's always worth checking this place out to see what fun stuff they have to offer. And it's always good to support small businesses!

Whenever I'm in downtown kirkland, I keep passing by this place but never tried it for some reason. But today was the day :) The place is small but has a lot of ice cream! They have tons of flavor! I asked the guy what was good and he basically listed all the flavors they had ...I decided to go for the pineapple coconut and the almond pistachio in a waffle cone. The price was reasonable for what you get.The pineapple coconut was pretty good, I like the chunks do pineapple and coconut in there. The pistachio almond was not my favorite. It had this really strong almond flavor that was just too overwhelming for me. Overall, I think this is a decent ice cream place as it has a lot of flavors, but theres other dessert places nearby that I wouldn't put this ad my priority.

Wasn't thrilled. Too many ice crystals in the ice cream as if it was stored improperly or something. Not sure if they make things in house or if its just delivered. Hard to really tell if the flavor was good because the ice crystals were so prominent. Otherwise, kind of a hidden spot that you'd miss unless you stumbled by it. Atmosphere feels a bit like you walked into a basement that happens to have ice cream and I guess coffee. Didn't risk the coffee since there are so many decent coffee shops around that specialize in coffee.

Great hidden gem!!! Ice cream was amazing and staff were friendly. Had Chocolate Chip Mint and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Bother we're excellent!! Here on vacation and second time we have been here. Will be back every time we're are here!!

OMGGG I love Coffee & Cone! I had been wanting to try it for a few months and finally did the other evening. The store is super small, but has a great selection of flavors. I honestly would try just about every single flavor here. They allowed us to sample different flavors, which was awesome. :)I ended up getting a scoop of bubble gum and a scoop of birthday cake in a waffle cone. I'd say the price is quite reasonable for the amount that you get -- especially considering how yummy their ice cream is! I will say that this is the best ice cream place I've tried in the Downtown Kirkland area. The girl who took my order that evening was super sweet, but there was a man working that seemed to be a bit rude to his customer. Overall, we had a good experience and I was really pleased to find out how great their ice cream is. It reminds me of more of an older-school, classic ice cream spot, which I definitely love. It's also in a great location -- you can bring your treat down to the waterfront and enjoy the beautiful view and ambiance!

I think this ice cream shop has exchanged owners since I was a kid but whatever change happened was an upgrade as the current management provides doggy ice cream, making it the perfect place to stop by on a summer night walk with my pupper

Coffee & Cone is a good spot in downtown Kirkland for coffee and a cone, duh. I've passed by this small shop several times and just now, did I make my way to try Coffee & Cone since my friend gave me a gift card for here. We came here for ice cream cones, which they have a lot of flavors to choose from. I was told by the employee that they get their ice cream from a local dairy farm that does not sell in store. I was also pleased that they allowed samples, especially since there were so many flavors. I ended up getting a cone of animal cracker, which tasted like birthday cake with frosted animal crackers! It was yummy and definitely filled my sweet tooth. The ice cream was creamy enough and had chunks of the frosted animal crackers. It was solid. If you're looking for some ice cream in downtown Kirkland, then Coffee & Cone is a good option for doing so, especially since a lot of people hang out by the Kirkland marina in the summer time. Though they don't have indoor seating, there was outdoor seating and it's walking distance to the Kirkland marina. I'm glad we were able to try a cone from here.

Great experience great flavors good coffee nice art an good customer service! Would recommend to anyone

2 of 4 of us had explosive diarrhea & stomach pains. The only thing we ate in common was the kona coffee ice cream here. The other two on our party had a different flavor. Hard to pinpoint but I rarely see this other person & we had nothing else similar and the other two on the party no stomach issues.. looks like a cool shop but idk can't help the coincidence.
