CoCo Vietnamese Sandwiches & Pho

Crab Rangoon: a bit thick on the wrapFried rice: just bland and dry. Would not recommend.Beef combo pho: pretty boring flavor. Lots of soup and content though. Lemongrass pork bahmi: ok flavor. Bread was crspy

So besides the usual chicken noodle soup? When we're not feeling well, we will consume Vietnamese Pho from @cocoravenswood Their Pho consists of: slow simmered beef broth, sprouts, basil green onion, and jalapenosWe like to get their Sliced Rare Beef (Pho Tai) or Well Done Brisket (Pho Chin).Then we will add a Grilled Pork or Grilled Beef Banh Mi Sandwich. Since the pandemic, they have shifted to carry out our delivery only. We have been coming here for a while, and the delicious food with reasonable prices keep us coming back.

I came in here during a week day for lunch hoping to sit down and have a bowl of pho and have a Banh Mi and Viet coffee for take-out afterwards, but I quickly realized after I walked over here from my place that they are only doing take out and delivery orders. I assume that this all started post-COVID but I was disappointed. Onto the experience and food. The older man taking my order behind the counter was really nice. He did make a mistake however because I wanted a bowl of pho and a banh mi but when he rung me up, I paid, and then he was like "wait, you wanted two bowls of pho?". I told him that I wanted just one and a Banh Mi with coffee. He realized he made a mistake and he looked a little flustered since I had just paid. Anyways, I told him it wasn't a big deal. I waited less than 6-7 minutes and my stuff was packaged and ready to go. He also throw in an Thai Iced Tea for the mistake. I brought it home and everything was packaged nicely. I saved the other pho for the next day. My pho was pretty good. I don't normally like taking pho to-go as it is never the same, but I'd rate it an 8/10. Really wish I could have dined in. My Viet coffee and thai iced tea were good, however I wish the Viet coffee was just black with no sugar. I like that this Vietnamese place is located away from the other Little Vietnam (Argyle) restaurants because it allows for more options in my area. I'll be back!

We went to CoCo to pickup some banh mi sandwiches and a veggie spring roll. I ordered over the phone because it seemed like the easiest option and it is close to my home. They said it would take 15 mins so I walked over to pick it up. The place is sort of dumpy looking from the outside and in. Only pickup allowed, no tables to eat at. Our food was pretty good. The spring roll was tasty served with a peanut sauce. I had a tofu banh mi and my partner had a pork one. We both enjoyed our food. The prices were reasonable and we will return.

I had a favorite go-to Banh Mi place but that place unfortunately closed down years ago. Since then, CôCô has taken care of my banh mi cravings and every visit is pleasant so far! Post-pandemic (arguably) it seems to be only take-out & delivery. No issues for me because I tend to take my banh mi to-go either way. Each visit seems to be the same lady who takes my order. She is friendly and all so I have no complaints there. As far as the menu goes, everything is listed clearly with pricing. With rising food costs, banh mi has gone up but pricing is still very reasonable and budget friendly for the most part. What you get is a big filling sandwich so IMO I believe it's a good price. I usually rotate banh mi flavors but I always rotate between the Saigon classic, Coco special or the grilled pork. The sandwich always hits the spot. Fresh veggies with a nice crunch from the bread together with the meats yum! Sometimes I'll throw in an order of spring rolls, egg rolls or fried shrimp and for the most part they're good too! If you love Banh Mi, please make your way here!

3.5 stars. I order from here on Uber Eats whenever I'm craving a banh mi since my go to spot isn't on there. I usually get the Saigon classic (Pork belly and pork roll, mayo, pate, jalapeño peppers, cucumber, cilantro, pickled carrot & radish). The pork belly is soo yummy! The meat, however is a bit on the thinner side and there is a lot more bread compared to meat. There is also not much pate, which is one of the best parts in my opinion. If they could just add more pate and take out a little more bread and add thicker meat this sandwich would be a dream. I really like the shrimp spring rolls here. The peanut sauce is delicious and perfectly balanced! The shrimp is pretty thin though. Flavor wise, I love everything about these, so refreshing!Their viet iced coffee is good too. If you've never tried Vietnamese iced coffee, you must! It's stronger, richer and has an intense flavor but it's creamy and slightly sweet from the condensed milk. I'll have to try their pho sometime, I usually never order pho takeout unless I'm sick because I am a sole believer that pho needs to be enjoyed in the restaurant, unless it's homemade of course.

My friends and I picked up food from this place about a month ago, and it was SO good! None of us ever ordered food before this experience, but I would definitely order from here again. We didn't eat in here, and my friend was the one who picked up our mobile online order, so my review is strictly about the food.Before I tried the food, I had gotten a Vietnamese iced coffee and it was so creamy and so amazing. I never had Vietnamese coffee before but WOW. I'd come back just for this! For my food, I ordered the beef noodles, and they were full of flavor as well. They were a great texture and they weren't so greasy or wet like some places sometimes are. The beef was perfectly cooked and not tough. Two of my friends ordered the Pho with raw meat, and my one friend was so freaked out because she didn't realize it was literally raw until she put it in the broth. However, both of my friends who ended up ordering Pho ended up enjoying it. I also ordered egg rolls and they were a bit on the drier side, but still full of flavor. It may have also been because they were a little cold by the time I ate them.Overall, I'd gladly order food here again if I'm around the area!

I ordered through GrubHub recently-I ordered Cha Gio or Vietnamese Egg Rolls...which I love-however; I was highly disappointed....while they added lettuce for wrapping...THEY DID NOT INCLUDE the Nuoc Cham-Dipping Sauce OR the Pickled Vegetables and Herbs like Cilantro and Pepper to include in the wrapping.I was really surprised that an supposedly "authentic" Vietnamese Restaurant would not include this in the order.The whole experience went into the garbage...I ordered so I would NOT HAVE TO do any work...such as prepping and cooking.The Whole Experience via Grubhub cost $35.00 for delivery for 9 egg rolls...waste of $$ and a waste of food-most of it went into the garbage.

Best bahn mi in the city and I have been searching for a while and I live right by argyle! I ordered sandwich 1 - the special - was amazing and so fresh. Also very nice lady working the register.
