Cockatoo's Chicken Restaurant

This low key place had some of the best wings. My husband and I had recently been to Bdubs and it was so disappointing yet coming to this hole in the wall had some fabulous wings, delicious flavorful potstickers and some yummy cheese corn.You can't go wrong with Cockatoo's! I already can't wait to go back!

Who can't be happy about Korean Fried Chicken and Soju? My bf came here to pre-game our Friday night. They weren't crazy busy and we got seated right away. We got a half order of the sweet n spicy chicken wings, a seafood pancake and a peach soju cocktail. The wings were finger lickin good (no colonel). The sauce was MAD sticky and full of flavor. The pancake was huge and jam packed with squid and veggies. The soju was sweet and defiantly got the job done. Overall, defiantly recommend to the homies!Located in Federal Way. Private parking lot. Indoor seating available. Amex not accepted.

This restaurant looks like it belongs in a scene with two bank robbers meeting to discuss a heist in a Quentin Tarantino movie but the fried chicken here is just the prefect amount of crunch, juicy delicious.I forget what it's called but the cheese bacon corn dish was fantastic as was the sweet spicy chicken and the plane were down to the bone within minutes after landing on my table.We did get a rather weird dish that consisted of a can of sliced peaches dumped into a bowl with ice and a child's plastic scoop you would use at the beach to scoop sand was there as a serving spoon... hmmmmmmmThe staff was fantastic and the food came out very quick definitely going back

Sweet and spicy chicken is good, not really spicy at all. Reminds me of the KFC at the H-Mart food court. 1lb was about 8 chicken pieces, and comes with salad and diced daikon (?) They also have complimentary popcorn while you wait for the food to be made. They have friendly service and checked in a few times to make sure everything was good. The parking lot is kind of dark, sketchy, and empty. There were only a few groups dining on a Wednesday night.

Definitely the spot for late night munchies! Unfortunately, this night for us the food was not par. We ordered the following:- one pound of sweet and spicy chicken ($15) which is eight pieces. Good thing was that the chicken was crispy but the flavor, was non existent. It was not spicy at all, the sweetness was not sweet at all. Yes, there is sauce on it but it tastes like sticky water...- kimchi pancake was good ($16) It's crispy and can taste sour, salty and acidity of the kimchi. Definitely worth. And the size is big!- stir fried rice cake with cheese ($16) was not par either. It came out luke warm, the rice cake was not fully cooked, cheese was not melted, and again, the flavor was not there. You see the color, but the smells, the taste is so bland. - deep fried takoyaki ($13) was average. Tasted like what I could get from a store, frozen bought. The best thing was the side salad. Hopefully, this was just an off night.

This place seems like a place you would go to after a long night of drinking. I think if we visited under those circumstances, my review might be a little higher! For appetizer, they give you complementary popcorn while you wait. The server was really nice and very quick. We were the only ones in the restaurant at that time though lol. We went here to try their fried chicken, but they didn't have as much flavors as I would have liked. The chicken was fried really well and was really juicy. I didn't really care for the sauce that was on the chicken though. It didnt have much taste. I really liked the fried seaweed wrapped noodles and the corn cheese was delicious. Overall, I think this place is more for hanging out with friends rather than a place to just sit down and eat.

Went on a Thursday night, and it was basically just my party of 4 and another table. Food came out pretty quickly and service is good. For a chicken place tho there aren't as many flavor options as I'd like. I would've liked to see garlic or soy chicken. Likely wouldn't go back for their chicken but probably would to try out other menu items.

Cockatoo is a good place to you would go to if you want chicken, plus there is a soup with mussels and it is spicy but yummy. I liked the service there, although it is slow but the food is good. It was a good place I would recommend this Chicken place. When we came it was a place where you can drink and eat and overall it was fun.

Great service. Truly the best I've had in a while. He spaced out our appetizers and entrees perfectly and kept our cups full. Great wings. Great cheesy corn. Inside is dark and has music playing, definitely a great place for drinks with friends. Will be back again soon!

Small family owned business that serves excellent hospitality with chicken wings and beer! Great local spot for lunch but I always go for dinner!! And yes there's more food on the menu!
