Our well-known homemade tortilla chips with our signature table sauce with a touch of chipotle pepper.

The service was really good and quick. We had a large group and all drinks came out quickly as well as the food. The enchiladas were amazing with the sauce and the portion was very large. Definitely worth it for the price since it lasted me for another meal.

I've only been here to have appetizers and margaritas on their patio. But it's a very nice atmosphere. Lincoln Park is a great neighborhood to watch walk by. The margaritas are great. You can choose choose from a variety of tequilas. Good service.

Came in with my youngest son and his girlfriend. Vive was excellent and so was the artwork and the music. Service was decent except that I felt like our waiter was forgetful. They had some excellent veggie choices which made Lesley happy. My steak was cooked the way I asked, however it was served with a heavy sauce that I would have preferred not to have. The rice and beansWere good. Gaucomole was fair. I really enjoyed the ambiance but I felt that the food was not as good as 3 or 4 other Mexican restaurants in the area.

Wow is this a first class place! Great food; a little bit of a noisy atmosphere but very fun. I've been here a number of times. Very generous portions. We ordered a take out recently and got a major order of tasty guacamole. I also really like the steak tostados but it's such a wide ranging menu that you'll get what you want at this restaurant.

Healthy vegan options in a Mexican restaurants is always welcome. The mandarin salad for $12 hits the spot. Plus the serving is huge. It's loaded with peanuts too for texture and protein. The tarascas burrito suizo style was really meaty with lots of cheese on top. However the five stars goes to the shrimp chipotle tacos really savory shrimp with perfect mango salsa (see previous review). It's still Really loud inside with blaring music videos.

My best friend and I pass Tarascas all the time, were craving a margarita and walked in randomly one day. Where we've seen this place packed, it was empty-ish when we arrived. Our server was kind and patient with us cause we had no idea what were were getting. Their jumbo margaritas were good, but if you like tasting different flavors I'd recommend a regular sized one. The jumbos are basically 3 margaritas in one big glass. You'll enjoy them if you like sweeter drinks. Ours were luckily 10 dollars off (normally $48). I got the carne asada plate and were the meat was tender and tasty. I didnt think it was worth the price. Overall I'd come back for the margaritas but probably skip the food. TLDNR:Food good but not worth the price to me. Definitely come back for the margaritas and the chill vibes. 1 jumbo = 3 regular

Once finally getting our orders taken service improved. The food and ambiance was hip. The music and videos helped to uplift the mood and experience. The chips and salsa were delicious. I ordered a create my own Quesdillas. Probably wouldn't order that again, they were soggy from the salad and meat inside the Quesdillas. My family enjoyed the tacos so maybe I'll give that a try.

I luckily stumbled upon Tarascas on a ~girls gone bad~ night and received a free margarita upon arrival. We ate outside and enjoyed the beautiful Chicago weather. The service was outstanding. I would absolutely recommend this place! I had the Cuban quesadilla for dinner and it was outstanding. I will say it was sweet - so wouldn't recommend if you're not into that. Overall 10/10 would recommend!
