They took my Credit card info and phone call yesterday for 2 dozen tamales (green and red), and when I came today, they had no idea what I was talking about. They were confused about pick up order, until one of gentleman discussed it was his fault for taking order and not communicating to one another. They even charged my credit card and I asked for cash refund. I had to go to taqueria next door to search for any other tamales that remained. I won't be calling this place in the future. This was a big error on their end.

Just came here for a quick bite after a walk in the forest preserve with the dog. I don't speak any Spanish and the person helping me he didn't speak much English but it doesn't matter. Got four different tacos and homemade refried beans and rice. Everything was delicious the tortillas were homemade. We got it to go and it tasted delicious even when we got home did not need to reheat or anything because they were freshly made! Salsas also are delicious. Will definitely be back! The prices are decent and it's cheaper if you pay cash.

Awesome little hole in the wall restaurant. I love these places that tend to go unnoticed. I was looking for a quick authentic taco, and I stopped by thinking I'd be adventurous.Delicious food! The lady at the counter did not speak much English, but we got along just fine with my HS level Spanish.Carne asada tacos were made on the spot. Simple, delicious, a little on the pricey side, but homemade tortillas! No crumbly store-bought junk! Totally worth it.

Great food! GrubHub take out order was a total disaster and the lady at the restaurant helped me getting my order as soon as possible. The tacos a mano al pastor and campechano are great, as well as the salsas. I will definitely stop by there anytime I go around that area.

Stopped in after seeing all the 5 star reviews. The asada (steak) tacos really are that good. It's the fresh homemade corn tortillas that make them a stand-out. I walked in around noon on a Thursday, placed my carry-out order, and only waited about 5 minutes.I'll be back to try other menu items.Edited to add: $$$ seems wrong. They were on the pricey side for street-style tacos (tacos a mano: 3.99) - but they are pretty big. So possibly $$.

Super-authentic.You can get the original food here!The only issue is, their menu does not show it.First, when they opened, they had the real menu up. With all the MENUDO (!!!!), tortas and pozole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The menu now does not show it. It shows only the Tex-Mex choices. Please, fix it!All my best to Monica!

Last minute stopped here for 2 dozen tamales as my order with another restaurant for my grandson's birthday party never arrived. Tried the pork red, green and cheese and pepper and one was better than the next. So flavorful and the outside was moist and yummy!! Perfect tamales and from what I understand they take advance orders for chicken tamales. They were a hit at the party!!
