My wife and I took our daughter this past weekend to celebrate her birthday. We decided to go for a dinner service because we had been there for a breakfast/brunch service and were super impressed with the quality of the food and wanted to see what they go do for dinner. We arrive early and were seated right away. Our daughter appreciated the happy birthday card. Ordered drinks which were delivered, and while tasty, one showed up that definitely was not one that was ordered, but the bartender insisted was correct. (Gin drinks don't come with salted rims on the glass)Moving on to food: Appetizer and salads were on point and delicious. Main courses: Daughter's course (Crabcakes) everything cold. My course (6 oz Angus Tenderloin) everything cold. Wifes course (Fried Jidori Chicken), served directly from the fryer and hot, but sides cold. It's obvious the kitchen did not have times right to ensure everything was served hot. Additionally, requested a glass of red wine that took so long to be delivered, I was already done with my meal when it finally showed up. At no time did the server swing by to ask how our meal was going, but she did focus her attention on locals seated at nearby tables. We were very disappointed with the quality of the food that was served to us on this special occasion. My daughter remembered us hyping up this place up after our experience with the brunch service and was excited to try it for dinner but in the end, we were all disappointed and unimpressed.

We gave Cob & Cork another try for dinner last night. To sum it up, we both finished our meal, looked at each other, and said, "meh." We had the Ahi - just okay. The salmon rice bowl, again just ok and the salmon definitely did not taste fresh. We've had better rice bowls at a brewery in Bellingham. We also had roasted brussel sprouts - again just ok. I make better ones at home. My husband had two pricey cocktails and he said both were just average. The best thing about C&C is the atmosphere. I really don't think we'll be back.

We came here on a Sunday for brunch to meet a friend-our first time. Our drinks were made quickly, and it was good, a roobious lavender late (1 pump of syrup instead of 2), bloody mary, and coffee. To start, we got an order of biscuits that were warm, fresh, buttery, delicious, and for sure homemade. Our meals were fantastic, pulled pork hash and bennys. After arriving, i started reading the reviews on yelp and was puzzled about the low rating stars. We had a nice time, patrons got their food promptly, and seemed to enjoy their meal.

Excellent food (Land & Sea options), including excellent ahi, steamed clams, oysters on the half shell, and steak, as well as other bistro type meals. The service was friendly, helpful and truly excellent. The ambiance is cozy, comfortable and nice casual. Great for date night, girls night out, or a nice family gathering. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I went here for my birthday brunch and were so impressed with everything from the lattes to the Dungeness Crab Benedict and Tres Leches French toast. Very generous servings and reasonable prices, but more important to us - high quality ingredients (the crab was so fresh) and the chef obviously knows what he's doing - there was such a refined balance of ingredients. The French toast wasn't too sweet and the hollandaise wasn't too heavy. Even though it was decadent, the ingredients and cooking was so clean and classy that we felt great afterwards! Can't believe our luck that such a high quality establishment for both dinner and Sunday brunch is so close by to us and in the lovely setting of Skagit Valley.

My friend and I were looking for a new place to go for brunch last weekend, and we ran across Cob & Cork on Yelp and knew we had to try it. It's a little off the beaten path, which adds to its charm, but soon enough we arrived and were seated quickly. We started with two bloody mary's, which were huge (we barely finished them) and had that classic, semi-spicy, briney taste that makes a brunch feel like, well, brunch. My friend ordered the farmer's breakfast and I had the brioche bennie. Both were visually gorgeous and my bennie was fantastic. The brioche added a subtle sweetness that was contrasted with the creamy hollandaise sauce and zesty arugula. There was also a hefty order of bacon, and some of the best hash browns I've ever had. My friend enjoyed her farmer's breakfast as well. The service was phenomenal, friendly but not intrusive, and the atmosphere was intimate and bright. It looked like it would be a fun place to come back to on a date. Also, I'm dying to sit in the wicker "pod" chair in the bar and sip a glass of bubbly. Life goals!Apparently this place has been here for a year! I had no idea, but I loved it and will definitely be back again.

First time visiting Cob + Cork and kicking myself that we waited so long before trying. Best breakfast I have had in a very long time!

If you want the TLDR, it's worth the drive and the price tag. Just go and enjoy yourself. I had been dying to try Cob & Cork since they opened, and I was finally given the chance. It's a small industrial-designed place with greys, wood, and black accents. It's more modern minimalism with a bit of rustic charm. There is a full bar, and Lauren, our server, was by far one of the best I've had in this state. She is worth mentioning by name and definitely worth asking to sit in her section. She was knowledgeable, thoughtful, made good suggestions, and ensured our visit was truly an experience. We started with drinks, and the hibiscus margarita is incredibly tasty. Actually, ALL the drinks we had were inventive and delicious. One drink was made slightly wrong, and Lauren had the bar remake it. I would definitely order something off their specialty menu because you won't find another place in the area with such pretty presentation or combination of flavors. The food was enormous portions, delicious, and everything was perfect. The ahi tuna was perfectly cooked - seared on the outside with sesame seeds, and a magenta color in the middle. I had the jaeger schnitzel, which was pounded thin and super crispy (AND THAT BERRY COMPOTE!!!), and the mushroom topping on top was fabulous. While the ribs weren't smoked, and they were more crockpot/baked style, they were still fall off the bone. We did order dessert and as a special touch, she put candles on them "just because, just to celebrate." I didn't taste the chocolate dessert, but the strawberry rhubarb crumble was heavenly, especially with the glass of port to go with it (don't skimp, order it!). It was truly one of the nicest dinners I've been to in a long time. The food and drinks were good, but Lauren put it over the top for us. We will definitely be back and encourage our friends to try it - the more the merrier!

Four friends total for Easter Brunch, looking forward to trying a new place. I ordered a cup of coffee for starters, as two of us arrived early - and 15 min later it arrived as they had to brew a pot. My girlfriend & I each ordered the Mimosa Flight, and mine came 20 minutes after hers as they could not find the lychee juice - wth?? Instead of coming to me to let me know (I would've ordered a different juice - however to be brutally honest, in the end we both agreed they ALL tasted the same) they just left me hanging - and it gets better - our breakfast order somehow got misplaced, so it took forever to get our food - and three of the four of us who had hashbrowns on our plate found them burnt in sections and cold over all. The crab benedict itself was delicious, as was the french toast - but everything else, to include the service, was an utter disappointment. Truly, our meal should've been comp'd with all the mishaps. Always sad to be disappointed when you have such high hopes.
