In town for the weekend and found this lovely gem so we decided to stop in - we were not disappointed! Service was fast and friendly!We did have a hard time deciding which pizza to get as they all sounded fantastic, but decided on the Bacon Jam pizza. It was excellent! Place is small but inviting and we would definitely come back again!

9/19/2021--Random pizza pick while out, that quickly turned into a favorite. Upon entering, you're welcomed with the wafting aromas of pizza from their coal-fired oven. The staff was very friendly. The decor is warm and inviting. You can build your own pizza or choose from over a dozen different crafted combinations. Your pizza is brought out quickly atop of an empty tomato can as the pizza stands. The pizzas are a light and easy chew. The ingredients are good quality and very tasty. Street parking was ample on a Sunday. I'm glad we took a chance on this place.

These pizzas are amazing. Super thin chewy crust with amazing toppings. We had these delivered and you add the whipped ricotta after the bake yourself so it doesn't melt before and you can enjoy the textures. The whipped ricotta is possibly the thing that takes all of these from good pizzas to best pizzas for me. We added honey to the pepperoni pizza which was really good! There are variety of meat or vegetarian options so most people should find something they would like.

Umm yummm. We visited on a Friday night for the first time. Surprisingly they weren't too busy and parking was easy to find.The staff was beyond hospitable. Very kind and attentive.We ordered one Honey and Salami pizza and one Whipped Ricotta and Pepperoni pizza. Bae loved both but we both agreed the Honey and Salami was the star of the night. Perfect balance of sweet and savory!The whipped ricotta has some small garlic chunks in it. Bae loved that. I could have done without them. Overall, this will be a new go-to spot for me!

Me and my cousin went to the west town location. Pizza is very thin but so delicious. We ordered the jalapeño pepperoni, pepperoni and whipped ricotta, and lastly the honey and salami which was my overall favorite!!!! I definitely recommend the honey & salami or the pepperoni whipped ricotta. The Caesar salad was a great choice to start off, you can tell they make homemade croutons! I couldn't stop eating the croutons how yummy they were. I also enjoyed seeing the oven and being able to see my pizza being made. Great service and delicious pizza ! Highly recommend

We relocated to Chicago and have been desperate to find a great thin crust pizza. Well, we found it this week at coalfire! The crust is thin, the cheese is delicious, not too much red sauce and the sausage was crumbled and covered the whole pie. It looks like this will be our pizza go to.

Went there there for lunch Saturday. We ordered the pepperoni with ricotta. Only took what seemed like 5 minutes from the time we ordered, to the time we received our food. Highly recommend stopping here the next time you're in Chicago.

It's truly unfortunate because I've been getting it for years and years when it first opened.The crust was a real coal fired pizza now I really thought it was something out of the freezer section.
