This is a decent dive bar. Be prepared to wait to get inside, there will be a very, very long line. Parking is generally easy here. This dive bar attracts a very wide range of ages, so expect to run into all different types of people and generations here.

Arrogant bartender, disrespectful to women, only later to find out from the staff that he's actually the manager. This past Saturday night I went to Coach House for the first time. I ordered a drink at the main bar inside. It was very busy and was taking a long time to make it. So I went to the bathroom and came right back. I was gone maybe 3 to 4 minutes. When I got back the bar manager had the drink sitting there and started yelling at me asking if I even wanted it. He taunted me holding the drink up and then pulling it back away as he said if I didn't want it he'd just take it back. He was so angry out of nowhere that I honestly was afraid he did something to the drink. So I said okay take it back and he immediately turned around and chucked it out. I was so thrown off and in shock of his behavior. I tried to ask him what I did wrong and he gave me more attitude, was extremely dismissive, waving me off and telling me to go away. I simply wanted to know what I could have possibly done to upset him so much but he wouldn't give me any explanation and just yelled at me not to talk to him. He was on such a power trip that he called a security guard over and told him to kick me out. I didn't argue and went with the security guard to the entrance. After I followed them out I was talking to the bouncer, still bewildered and trying to understand what just happened. Even more to my surprise, I found out that the bartender I ordered from was in fact the bar manager and so there was nothing they could do. My whole group saw all of this happening and left the bar because of it. I feel extremely disrespected by the way your bar manager treated me and the complete lack of regard he showed for his actions. I fear for any other women that have to interact with him and for the rest of your staff having someone as arrogant and inconsiderate as him in a management position.

My favorite little "dive bar" while in town. With all of the fancy and pricy spots in town- this is my favorite spot for a cocktail and chill atmosphere. From the rooms adorned with mini Christmas lights to the bar top with Pennie's- this is a quaint spot to beat the bachelorette parties .

When I first visited this place my timing must have been bad. Still kinda smelly still have cigarette smoke everywhere and the drinks are still so so. Do not order anything complicated. BUT they are open early in the morning and when you're working nights in trauma and need to gather the troops after a tough night, Coach house is always here to support our needs :)Love it at Christmas when it's plastered in Christmas lights.

How could you not love the Coach house? I walked over after the Canal Convergence event and had a beer before I called my Lyft to go home. They have all their Christmas lights up and it was packed. With so many changes in the neighborhood, and in life in general, it is like visiting an old friend for me always. I love this place.

For the type of place this is, it's 4 stars. Cheap drinks, good vibes, no entry fees or anything. You walk right up to the bar and essentially get drinks and can hang wherever. I will say it felt like an older scene though. If we were in the area I would stop by again. My only feedback is the bathroom could use a little makeover/ some hygiene maintenance.

Absolutely loved my experience at Coach House! We'd just come from another spot in Scottsdale that was very pricey, so it was nice to be able to get some tasty refreshing drinks without breaking the bank. Our bartender (I think Drew was his name??) was super friendly with our group and gave us some great recommendations for quality food in the area to try before we left to go back to the East Coast. The vibe is immaculate -- Christmas lights from floor to ceiling? Yes please, sign me right up. The experience was 10/10 and if I ever find myself back in Scottsdale, Coach House will definitely be on my list of places to visit again!

I was riding by on a bus back from a work dinner, and all of a sudden a building is lighting up the darkness of a night like a Christmas tree. What on earth was it?! My colleague and I checked it on the map and saw that it was none other than Coach House, allegedly one of Scottsdale's oldest dive bars. On my last night in town, I made a point to go there, and I had no regrets! It's not just the outside that's completely lit up -- it's the inside too! It's quite photogenic, and the bartender was so friendly! For the area, the cocktails were priced at like $5-$6... so great in comparison! Shout out to the Family Guy pinball machine in the corner! I was really feeling the divey vibe. I think they have food too -- but I didn't get a chance to try it. Maybe next time! This place makes me want to visit the area again.

Stopped by on a Tuesday night since we've driven by a few times. Apart from the showy holiday lights, there's not much this place offers. There were maybe 10 or so people scattered throughout the bar. It seemed like regulars, most older than 40 years. Overall, pretty chill atmosphere.A bottle of Blue Moon or draft will run you $6. I wouldn't say the bartenders are nice, but they aren't rude either - they're just there. There are a couple TVs with ESPN on, a jukebox, and both indoor and outdoor seating (majority of it was outdoor seating). The indoor area had lights strung up on the walls (very on-brand) but they're harsh on the eyes with explosive neon blues.Must be 21+ to enter. Not sure I'd come back...

Neighborhood bar with a fun twist of a year-round Christmas theme that truly lights up starting in November. Drinks are moderately priced and generously poured. Be ready to order, as the bartenders quickly move to the person in line if you hesitate. Attracts all different types of local and tourist personalities. Sometimes has live music and is always a good time. Be prepared to wait in line to get in on busy weekends. Oh, and if you're lucky, a food truck will be in the parking lot or they might have hamburgers and hotdogs on the patio. Check it out, you won't regret it.
