Carlos is the best bartender in downtown Phoenix and I mean that!! The service is wonderful, the drinks are phenomenal, and the camaraderie is givingggggg!Go!! Bring your friends!! And enjoy one of the best bars downtown Phoenix has to offer!

This establishment is all about the details! I am obsessed with how adorable the whole restaurant was. They have little rum bottles filled with propagated plants everywhere. Their food is very authentic and overall just delicious. They had so many great options we decided to grab a few of the Tapas. We ordered the Tostones, Chef's Special Empanadas, Cubano Nachos and Arroz con leche. At first the flavor can be a shock to your palette because it so authentic but once that subsided we ate every single last bit of the food. I was incredibly impressed by all the flavors and textures. Additionally we had some cocktails - they are all rum based but they do have a full bar if that's not your thing. We ordered the Lost in Montego and the Peachmaker. I recommend the Peachmaker if you like something more on the sweet side. The service was great as well. Coabana team works well together to build a good experience. The chef even brought out our nachos. GREAT DATE SPOT. Again though the greenery and plants really cool down the spot and make you feel like you are in Florida/Cuba.

Stumbled in this spot because it was walking distance to my hotel. In my opinion nothing really stood out but it was a good meal and the bartender was super nice. The nachos were different but surprisingly really tasty. Kinda reminded me of a Cuban sandwich but in nacho form. I've had better empanadas but they were good as well.

Decided to have a late night drink here and it was so cute. I loved the ambiance and felt like I was in Cuba. I loved the variety in drinks and enjoyed the refreshing notes. We'd definitely be back to have food!

My boyfriend and I had been wanting to come here for a long time--especially after going to the speakeasy you access through the kitchen..So we decided to go after a graduation ceremony. It did not disappoint! We started with some fun shots that were delicious! All the drinks we had were very good. The atmosphere is tropical and fancy and it's beautiful! The food was also tasty and my boo said the bread pudding he had for dessert was as phenomenal.

This was the best experience we've had in a while. All Rum Bar and they have a kitchen. We went too late for the kitchen but we tried a few of their cocktails and they did not disappoint at all. This is a great spot to pre drink or a for a date night. The bartenders were very well versed in their craft. We asked about flavors, transitional drinks, and underrated favorites. The staff is super nice and knowledgeable. We will be back to try their food!

This is a wonderful little Cuban place packed with personality. The decor gives off good vibes and the staff are all friendly and attentive. Most things are in the style of small plates to share with 1-2 people. The tostones and the yucca fritas are perfectly crispy. The ropa vieja was well cooked and had good flavor. The guava and cream cheese empanada was sweet and delicious.

This place is a nice hidden gem, a small, cute spot. Although I didn't get to try the food, they offer a variety of drinks to choose from. It's a rum specialty bar with a selection of crafted rum drinks, as well as other types of liquors. Additionally, it's good to know that they have fresh and purified water, which can be hard to find in Arizona. The atmosphere inside is peaceful, and I love the vibe they have going on. The service was great, and our server was super sweet. I forgot her name, but everyone was wonderful.

So living downtown we have a lot if places to try and we choose Coabana. Now having been to Cuba and love Cuban food i was excited to give this place a try!!!!First off the food portion of the menu is minuscule compared to the cocktail menu. They do have some of the stand food, Cubano Sandwich, Roja Viejas, empanadas, fried Plantains. We am started off with the Guava and cheese Empanada, they were good, you get three which are small, it might be better to serve two that are larger so you can really taste the Guava. Husband ordered the Roja Viejas it was excellent. I ordered the Pan Con Lechon which was excellent also, i did nit want the plantain chips so i ordered the Yuca Fries, i was told it was an up charge, i was charged the normal price for the appetizer. I didn't want the appetizer but just some yuca fries. Maybe they should think about having side of yuca fries. Bow the true issue, we ordered our food at the same time, but my husband's entrees arrived a good 10 minutes before my sandwich . No apologies no explanation. We ordered sangria it was good just wish we could have ordered a pitcher and not per glass. When you step into the place it really feel like Havana the ambiance is perfect. We will be back for some tapas.

Food is so so good. Very flavorful and cooked very well. Their kitchen closes at 10 pm! A good thing to note. We ordered the arroz con pollo, Cubano sandwich, tostones, and croquettes. Everything was so yummy. I loved the caramelized plantains. The mojo Verde sauce was soooo good on the tostones. The croquettes were crispy outside and then soft and flavorful on the inside. The mustard goes so well with it. The arroz was crispy and the chicken was flavorful. It doesn't look very spiced up but oh boy it was. This was probably my favorite meal during my trip in Arizona. I would go back asap.
