Clucker's Charcoal Chicken

Stopped here during a visit to the Nashwood Fest. Ordered the plant based Cajun Chicken Crisp sandwich. Is was absolutely delicious with the peanut cole slaw. I would highly recommend this place. Excellent food and service.

What the cluck?Have you ever been driving down a dark road on the North Shore and you see some glowing red eyes behind you? It's a rooster head on top of a truck? What the cluck? The Clucker truck means someone is going to be enjoying golden brown charcoal rotisserie chicken and their other delicious offerings very soon! We flew the coop and stopped in for some delicious salads. My friend ordered the Cajun Crispy salad and it was a beautiful kaleidoscope of ingredients with crispy chicken. I ordered the 2350 salad, which is similar to a Cobb salad, with grilled chicken. Their salads are a very generous size, with a fresh mix of ingredients and tender chicken. They also come with a small muffin. The fries we ordered were crispy, crinkly and delicious and of course their nutritional impacts were mitigated by our consumption of healthy greens.On other occasions we have enjoyed their 1/4 and 1/2 white and dark chicken, chicken enchiladas, Mac and cheese, sloppy chicken and more. The chicken is tender with crispy and crackly golden brown skin. The sides are alll very tasty. There is a chicken pot pie on the menu that I will have to try.The restaurant is friendly and welcoming and decorated with chickens. On nice days the front window is open and the gigantic rooster takes in the fresh air. The restaurant has a fowl vibe but they take their chicken very seriously. While it is very comfortable to dine in at the restaurant, there is a fleet of red-eyed rooster trucks that can bring the goods to your home when you want to rule the roost.

This small but clean restaurant offers a wary traveler a fine selection of food. I was a first-time visitor. The potato chips were freshly fried and arranged in a flower bouquet shape. The two-piece chicken with bean soup looked mighty tasty. I had the chicken pot pie with side salad. There were generous chunks of chicken with simple seasonings. At the ordering station, the rotisserie chickens were slowly roasting or heated. I generally do not order juice, but I am pleasantly surprised that the pineapple juice was tasty. The staff were not wearing masks and were friendly.

What's all the hype about? It's rotisserie chicken. I ordered the chicken soup(it was good ), chicken fingers (too much breading), Mac and cheese just okay. Their lemonade was delicious. I don't know the rotisserie chicken just isn't worth it in my opinion, I'd rather pick up a Whole Foods Rotisserie chicken it has more flavor- for less $$. The ambiance is pretty nice, clean and modern. I love their retractable windows. Their patio is nice and inviting over the summer. Service always friendly

Was it a sign that we should get some mothercluckin' chicken after seeing the brightly colored catering truck drive by us 3-4 times as we enjoyed the Highwood carnival prior to dinner? LOL. Clucker's is kid friendly, as they have kid menus and crayons for entertainment. I'd say there's about 4-5 kid meal options, like chicken tenders, Mac and cheese, and sandwiches. It also comes with a drink. Note to my future self: just get the kiddos water next time vs Sierra Mist bc they were preeettty hyped up after consuming more than enough of it. Think the vibes of little kids dramatizing late night drunkies in the backseat of an Uber: excessive giggling, talking 2-3x the necessary volume, and goofy shenanigans and nonsensical gibberish. Onto the food! I was underwhelmed by the Cajun chicken sandwich, mostly bc it was quite under seasoned and was overall just bland and one note. The cheese and sauce didn't contribute much to it. Me trying to be healthy that night opted for the side of grilled veggies, comprised of bell peppers and squash. The runaway highlight is the side of homemade chips! Yum! It's the stuff dreams are made of... crisp, perfectly salty, and thinly cut!Staff is friendly. Interior is open. Glad to have tried it, but this chicken will cross the road for another dining establishment next go around.

Staff is so nice. The food is really good. Great place to bring the family for sure.

My food was absolutely delicious and one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. My mom rated the 2350 salad highly, a 10/10 in her words. My dad got the wrap and described it as hardy and he gave it a solid 9/10. Keep in mind the portions are HUGE and we did bring home many boxes. However, the service was not up to par. The food did not come out at the same time and my dad's wrap ended up taking 15 minutes longer than the rest of our food. The chicken beignets came shortly after. The ambiance was great, not busy but not empty and the tables were clean. The bathrooms have lights that are motion activated so when I was in there they did turn off without warning and I had to reactivate them by walking in front of the sensor. Although the service and ambiance weren't five star worthy, the food, in my opinion, outweighs the minor inconveniences these issues were. I recommend coming and it was very delicious!

Always good fresh food and salads. I have never dined in- this is more of a family with little kids place for dining in. Order anytime it arrives fresh and reliably clean and tasty.

Kabobs were unreal! The Clucker's Club was also amazing! Great crinkle cut fries! Overall a great experience!

Best brick oven chicken I have ever tasted!I ordered the brick oven pizza, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and corn muffins. All were excellent! The staff were friendly as well. Tthere is parking available too. Will definitely visit again.
