Stopped by yesterday afternoon for a light snack while on a lovely walk. I found a great table in the shade- perfect for a sunny, slightly cool Chicago afternoon. I saw a number of customers with a colorful beverage in front of them- my fabulous server, informed me it was an Aperol Spritz. Had to order! So refreshing and light. They brought me some fresh warm bread and then took my lunch order. I had the grilled calamari appetizer- it was a unique presentation. Fresh cut peppers, tomatoes, onions and capers on top of the tender calamari. It was the perfect combination with the drink! My server came to check on me often, refilling my water. I have been to this restaurant a number of times and was happy to make another visit during my travels!

Club Lucky is a great spot! I love their martini with blue cheese olives. We split two different pastas and it was the perfect amount of food. Their table bread is also amazing. We didn't get any apps because the bread and pasta was enough for us.Highly recommend and has a great patio on the sides of the building and out back!

Very fun birthday dinner here! It was perfect for a group - not too hard to get a reservation, something for everyone, and tons of food. I had the lasagna and literally ate it over four meals. Huge portions all around! The calamari was also very good. This has an old school Italian frank sinatra kind of vibe and we had a great time. There is a valet, but there is also quite a bit of street parking in the area.

Expensive and mid in food and atmosphere. Ordered the Fettucini Alfredo which was $19. The noodles were all stuck together, I think I counted a clump of 3 or 4 noodles. I make my own pasta at home and this fettucini tasted like Barilla boxed noodles. Alfredo sauce was unsalted and lacked Parmesan flavor- felt like they just poured warm cream on top. The one redeeming part of this experience was that the waitress and servers were nice, attentive, and patient.

I've walked by this place for many years and I finally came in and couldn't be happier! This place has definitely hit the top of the list for Italian food for me! We sat at their cute patio outside and was such a cute place. The service was good and quick! And the food was delicious!! I can't wait to come back

We ordered Club Lucky for takeout. Everything was packaged nicely and the pastas were a great portion. I built my own with rigatoni, vodka sauce and veal meatballs. My husband got the 8 finger cavatelli with meatballs and sausage. We also got the salad with cheese, tomato, and onions. It was good but way overpriced we thought.I enjoyed my pasta, perfectly cooked and good flavor. I prob wouldn't get the veal meatballs again, they lacked flavor. The regular meatballs and sausage in my husbands were both tasty. My husband liked his pasta and sauce but we both thought the pasta was dense and heavy.

I love, love, love Club Lucky! This is my favorite bar in Chicago! The bar staff are all gorgeous!!!! But additionally, they are very talented bar tenders! I love to sit at the bar and watch the bar tenders at work, it's a show all by itself! They have whimsical, vintage cocktail shakers on display above the bar area that are always fun to look at along with a jukebox, which is always lots of fun! Highly recommended!

Me and my family came here with my brother who just graduated navy bootcamp, they were kind enough to bring us a desert tray on their behalf, and thanked him for his service. Was such a kind gesture that touched our hearts. Food was all around delicious, bruschetta was a family favorite!

I would not recommend the main dining room for a group. It was the loudest restaurant space I've ever been in (maybe due to the tin roof?) and the room wasn't even full. Our party of five was literally shouting across the table and could barely hear each other. We all agreed it was a stressful dining experience. If you're looking to relax and catch up, this is not the place--we left feeling irritable and overstimulated. Maybe the experience is better at a smaller table for two, but I won't be rushing back to find out. We regularly dine at hot spots all over Chicago, and I've never felt quite so assaulted by the volume in a room. However, I'd return to try the patio seating--it looked lovely as we walked in and is on a quieter street. They served the best dirty martini I've ever had (with three generously-stuffed blue cheese olives), and the table bread was another highlight. The food was solid; I ordered the handmade pasta squares, which I think were a notch above the other pasta dishes on the table (which were simply fine). The Caesar salad was totally standard, but the group thought the sausage and peppers were pretty good. I was curious about some of their other appetizers and would try a sampling of those before ordering pasta again. We got the cheesecake and cannoli for the table, and they were tasty. The cannoli were properly done with a nice crispy shell and balanced filling. Overall, there are so many great Italian restaurants in the city, I wouldn't rush back here. The place has a lot of cool history, but you can find much better food and ambiance at plenty of other spots. Glad we tried it, but I'd really only be drawn back for some martinis and a bread basket on the patio!
