Have been waiting for this place to open for months and was excited to finally try it.Pros:Food was delicious (tried: garlic naan, chutney trio, Paneer Samosa, Vegetable pakora, Chicken Tikka Masala, Raita) - particularly the naan and chicken tikka masala. Paneer samosa was different for me (used to standard pea and potato), but was pleasantly surprised how delicious the concept was. Vegetable pakoras has a strange texture for me - I'm used to little fried fritters that are crunchy. Here the batter felt like an afterthought and you were left with a weird mixture of mush and crunch. Also used to raita being heavy on cucumber; Clove's version appears to be just yogurt with spices.Ambiance was lovely - mellow music, beautiful and tasteful decor, nice attention to detailPlenty of parking, although you're best bet is the lot behind the restaurantCons:SERVICE SERVICE SERVICE - this was a bit disastrous. It was very clear that none of the waitstaff had any experience with restaurant work. From my bird's eye view I could see waiters clamor about trying to figure out which plates went to which tables. Waiters were also difficult to understand and had no air of customer service about them. We were missing two items, and they came out about 15 minutes after we finished the rest of the meal. To their credit, they did remove the charge for one of them voluntarily. Nobody came to check on us after the bulk of food was delivered, so we were not able to inquire about the missing items. Waiters seemed to be focusing on dashing foods to tables and quickly leaving to go fetch more food for other tables.Overall, we'd try this place again, but will probably wait a couple months to see if they can get their service in order.

Gave it a try and...Food: Chicken and Mango Curry wasn't as flavorful and spicy as expected, however, the Biryani was flavorful and spicy! Samosas were tasty! Raita had a thicker texture then I'm used too.Drink: Masala Chai Old Fashion; made to perfection Service: friendlyAmbiance: low key, good lighting(went in the day)

One word: amazing. This new addition just opened at the Landing recently and the ambiance, decor and customer service was outstanding. We were able to get a reservation for our party of 8 at a reasonable time and wait. There's plenty of seatings inside and outside the restaurant for nicer weather. There's a different door for order pickups that's located away from the main door, so that's pretty cool. From the time we entered the restaurant to departure, the service was impeccable. The employees answered all the questions that we had, refill the drinks promptly, clear the plates, and executed the experience smoothly without any hiccups. You wouldn't have guessed that they just opened. We ordered so much food ranging from gol gappa, masala fries, amritsari fish pakora, tandoori lamb chops, butter chicken, mango chicken curry, goat biryani, lamb vindaloo, garlic naan, tandoori chicken and Indian cheesecake. My husband and son's favorite were the tandoori lamb chops and the butter chicken. Most of the items that we ordered were 3 stars (5 as the spiciest). Let's just say that the 3 stars has some heat to it, so if you're not into spicy, you might want to stick to a 1. I have to say that the butter chicken is one of my favorite that I've tried, especially with the warm garlic naan. If you're curious to what the Indian cheesecake taste like, I would say that it tastes like the horchata but in the form of a cheesecake, it has that light hint of cinnamon and condensed-like milk taste. Make sure you order the yogurt sauce and extra sauces, it makes the dish so much better. One of the sauces has a mango taste to it, and it was pretty good. The pricing is pretty reasonable and had a good size portion to share among friends and family. We were also informed that in the future they will have a lunch buffet. Whhhoaaaa, that could be dangerously good and tempting for more returns. So what are you waiting for? Go check it out.

The ambiance and decor is absolutely beautiful for this restarant and the service is top notch. They also have seperate dining areas for larger parties that are more intimate for hosting a gathering. The food was really fresh, but it was lacking flavor and spice for our taste. They also give you tray of fresh chutneys with your food ranging from mango, mint and tamarind sauce. We ordered the fish pakora which was mainly batter, chicken tikka and Tikka masala curry dishes along with fresh naans. We also got the rumali roti which I wouldnt recommend since its really thin thava style roti so if you make this at home there is really no difference.Overall, our waiter and the staff were really nice and hospitable but the food was really missing the spice factor for me and even though they ask for spice level it wasn't in any of the food items we ordered. The tikka masala felt like I was just eating tomatoe sauce and the chicken tikka was coated with very light spices with turmeric instead of the traditional spices. Plenty of parking on the street and parking lot in the landing.

Decided to try this new spot that opened up 3 weeks ago with my family. The inside decor and ambiance was great, love the spacious seating. It was getting pretty crowded after we ordered. Music was a little loud as it was hard to communicate with servers. The menu was huge and easy to read with lots of delicious options. We got the fish pakora which was tasty, had a kick of spice and was juicy inside. The naan was great, can't go wrong with that. The biranyi was good, big portion size with tasty chicken thighs. The butter chicken was good, only complaint was the chicken wasn't as juicy as I'd like. Overall great place for Indian food in Renton, I'd come back.

We found our new favorite curry place, especially loving the Lamb Madras. It was an explosion of flavors, with delicious lamb that didn't have that grainy flavor. The Mango Chicken curry was a bit too sweet for us, but the chicken was tender and perfectly cooked. We preferred the Lamb Madras, but we'll definitely be back to try the tikka masala or butter chicken. They also highly recommended the Bhuna Lamb. Our only feedback is to add a curry sampler to the menu. We're excited about the buffet-style option coming soon for lunch!

The whole vibe of the restaurant is really nice. Decorations and the color scheme look super fancy. We got to try a few different starters all captioned in the pictures. The butter chicken was super good probably the best I've had so far in combination with the garlic naan. The dessert was okay, I like the ice cream part it wasn't too sweet. The service was great, they come by often to make sure everything is good, refill your drinks and just overall make sure your experience is going good. I would definitely go again to try other dishes.

Website:Your website is not filled with enough information. No menu, no information about reservations or waitlisting, etc. I'd recommend you rectify that to provide more information. In fact I tried to send a note of feedback to the website email address listed but it bounced as an invalid email (seems like the template was being used and not updated to a real email address). Our experience on Sunday 16-Jun:While I understand it was Father's Day and as well a Muslim holiday, it was indeed busy, that's fine. Given the lack of information about reservations we took our chances. I have to say for a new restaurant in 2024, the front-desk management was less than below standard. There are MANY MANY systems to accommodate waitlists, reservations, etc. and you presently don't appear to use any of them. At a glance, you are using the Toast app, which actually does have reservations/waitlist systems as well. Your front desk staff at the time was under-trained, understaffed. The waitlist system was several receipt pieces of paper with little information. In the 1 hour we waited we actually did not observe a single party's name actually get called. What we observed was that if you complained enough that suddenly you were next up. Conversing with another couple who was waiting 90 minutes they also never saw anyone be called up. Ironically we were "4th on the list" (party of 4) and we just left. But we didn't ask to remove our name. And despite taking our phone number, we were never called/texted/etc to say a table was ready (if not using our number for some purpose why collect it). The poor front desk young lady who was working was overwhelmed and receiving zero support. We did see the bartender come help with one thing but then she had her own job to do. You absolutely needed restaurant management at the front desk and it wasn't there. Where was the manager of the evening or the owner even?Simply put, you had no front-of-house management happening at all. Conversely, we remotely put our name on Dough Zone's waitlist (they use Yelp), were notified when a table was ready and checked in within a reasonable amount of time from the original estimate.I see others provided 1-star reviews on Yelp with similar experiences and noting that perhaps other Indian patrons were receiving preferential treatment. I will say that I did NOT observe that and in fact, many Indian families were also waiting for too long, had no idea where they stood in line, etc. It was a mess.

Excellent Indian restaurant! We frequent all the best, authentic Indian restaurants in the Seattle/Bellevue area and this one ranks equal with the best! Nice atmosphere. Excellent, friendly waitstaff. Definitely will be back.

This restaurant is newly opened in the area. The interior is nice, very spacious and food was great. We had Paneer Tacos, Zaika Shahi Paneer, vegetable biryani, Lacha paratha, Malai Kulfi Falooda and Indian Cheesecake. Paneer Tacos were a bit on sweeter side but tasted good. Zaika Shahi Paneer and Malai Kulfi Falooda were delicious. Indian cheesecake was good but could have been better. Vegetable biryani was okay. The spice level was apt to our taste. Food was freshly made and presentation was good.Cons -Wanted to try Rumali roti but was not available.Service could have been slightly faster. Overall, I would definitelyrecommend this place if you are looking for a good vibe with great food.
