Good food, vegan-friendly, and very different flavors from other cuisines. A welcome change.

My mother requested this as her birthday dinner. I'm so happy she did because this place is wonderful and I've been thinking about it ever since we had it.It was my first time ever experiencing Ethiopian cuisine, so it was fun to experience eating with your hands. I didn't have one of their traditional drinks but my mom said the tea was delicious. The service was quick and nice. Our server took time with the few questions we had and to explain everything. What was also nice is my mother is gluten free and the Injera came in a gluten free option which tasted just as good as the non gluten free one. The building is cute, they have little straw motifs inside and what I believe traditional Ethiopian music which was a nice touch if not my taste. Also since I'm a vegetarian there were plenty of options for me to eat and everything was spiced nicely.

This area reminds me of Ferndale back at home. Cozy inside, very chilekWe ordered the samosa, mushroom tibs with the tomato salad, spicy chicken with mushroom tibs, 4 combo with red lentil, split pea stew chickpea stew and cabbage and a 3 combo with red lentil, split pea stew chickpea stew. $85.28The owner came out to talk to us about our order. She said we ordered enough food for 4 people. Dropped the 3 combo, as the owner worried we ordered too much food. I appreciated the concern and told her if we want more, we would order more afterwards. We ended up ordering the 3 veggie combo with two red lentil and one yellow lentil after eating our first round. The sambosa is yummy, small pieces, the wrap is light and flaky and crispy too. The chili dip is good as well. All of the 4 veggie combo items are good, although I had a big lump or end of the cabbage though. The chicken was good, lean, but the mushroom tibs were yummy. The tomato salad was refreshing and tasty, the red lentil was my favorite. The yellow lentil was a tad bland to me.

Wonderful, homey, beautifully decorated, and affordable! This was my first time trying Ethiopian cuisine and I was not disappointed. The staff were so friendly and helpful. An appetizer + the beef stew combo with 3 vegan sides were plenty of food for two people. My favorite dish was the chickpeas, but everything was hearty and delicious. The tima tim appetizer was very flavorful and tangy. I usually don't like tomatoes but I enjoyed this dish. Keep in mind that if you ask for water, you'll get water bottles that you are charged for, which is not a big deal but something to note!

One of the best Ethiopian food experiences I've ever had. We tried the veggie combo which was enough to feed our party of 6. The standout dish was definitely the tofu tibs. They don't serve water for free which I found interesting. If you ask for water you get a bottle of water which is $1 extra. Not a big deal but just something to be aware of! Definitely a must try!

Delicious food, fast service, kind waiters. Try the honey wine...it's not like mead, rather, it is light and refreshing, and not harsh at all not overly sweet. I wish they'd asked what spice level we wanted (because I would've kicked it up a notch) but everything was delicious. I also wish they'd offered us a sanitizing wipe or hot towel to cleanse our hands before eating due to the no-utensils aspect of the experience. The combo platter allowed us to try a little of everything. It seemed a bit pricy, but worth it! Would recommend.

Some of the best Ethiopian food in the Cleveland metro area! Many vegan and vegetarian options. The coffee and honey wine is amazing too. Be advised they don't have tap water, only bottles. The service was great too, and the decor was adorable, felt very authentic. Would definitely revisit!
