I am not one to order breakfast online for pickup but I needed food and did not want to cook. Now I have a good backup plan in Zaytoon.I ordered the Steak Shawarma Hash and wow. The portion was big and the food was incredible.I like the little pick up window. Right out front.

Zaytoon Lebanese Kitchen is a golden gem for great breakfast and lunch favorites! The minute I walked in I was met with a smile and fast service! I researched this place and I quickly found out why it's rated very high! I ordered the Large Fattoush Salad w/Chicken Shawarma (also offer smaller size). My order was ready in no time and the generous portion of chicken was steaming hot (see the video) atop a huge bed of fresh salad greens and delicious seasoned pita chips that were perfectly paired. The chicken was rustically lightly seasoned and was cut in pieces that you didn't have cut again. The salad greens were super fresh and crisp alongside nice bite size pieces of cucumbers, radish, green peppers and onion. Their salad dressing is sunny, citrusy and really wakes up your salad. They also have a hot salsa. Surprisingly the salsa was not a bit watery like most other places! It was a perfect blend of vegetables and spices. It was nice and pulpy and I loved it in part of my salad. These are all made in house daily! Standouts: Very generous portionsSuper fresh ingredients Everything made in house Clean, neat and orderly establishmentSuper friendly owner and workers

Good little lunch spot. I've had the schwarma fries, salads, jalapeño hummus, soup and giardiniera. All of my food has been fresh and tasty enough for a great lunch! Where this place shines is their GLUTEN-FREE options! I can basically eat anything on the menu, just no pita. It has been a lifesaver at times!Price-wise It's not overly expensive - I always feel like I got enough for my money. I never feel hungry after and it holds me over all day. You can get a great lunch for $8 or $9 dollars. And it's ready fast.My only real complaint is that a lot of times when I order I'm missing a small ingredient. For example today I was missing scallions on my lunch... not a game changer but also annoying.Have you had better food? Sure. But you can't beat this healthy little lunch spot in the middle of downtown

I knew I was in danger the minute I stepped into downtown. Downtown is where taste goes to die. It's the haven of people in J-Crew button-downs and v-necks. People who order Blue Apron. People who buy socks from a company that just makes socks. I know, because I used to work in downtown and I did (do) all those things. But one thing I don't do is write five star reviews for generic food. It's a weird trend, in Boston as well, of uninteresting fast-casual mediterranean places. Why ruin such a good genre of food? Is it because chickpeas are cheap? Because lavash take up less shelf space?I got the cauliflower wrap, which maybe was my mistake. But I've had versions of this cauliflower that's deliciously oily, cooked soft with all the flavors seeping into the nooks and crannies. But this was just kind of bland, it's like they rolled the cauliflower in cumin and said "viola! It's Lebanese now!" I smelt like rolled in sawdust the rest of the day.Just...maybe don't eat in downtown.

Came here for lunch hoping for a big meal to hold us over during the Indians game. We were pretty surprised to see how empty the place was despite its proximity to the stadium and how many people we saw in the area. The woman who helped us was super nice, she gave us samples of anything we were unfamiliar with and made friendly small talk about our trip to the area. As for the food we certainly got what we were looking for in terms of a sizeable meal for a reasonable price. The baba ghanouj was more on the creamy flavor side than I expected, but still delicious. The red peppers in the quinoa salad gave it a nice kick. Along with the flavorful chicken it came together for a tasty lunch. If you're looking for something different than your typical pre/post game sports bar meal near the downtown area I'd highly recommend!

Wow!! What a great restaurant. I would highly recommend. Parking downtown is always a pain but this place makes it worth it. There's not much seating (two tables and a bar counter) so probably not great for big parties, but they do takeout! Everyone working was extremely helpful and nice that I just wanted to buy everythingI ended up getting falafel plate which was delicious and so filling. The falafel's were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Their homemade hot sauce was delicious and complemented everything so well. I would highly recommend getting the hand cut fries with zaatar as a side. I also got a huge piece of baklava for dessert which was so tasty! Everything in general just tasted so fresh. Can't wait to go back!

This is such a cute and cozy spot especially if you want a quick bite. I came in for breakfast and had the manoucheh (which is a thyme pie), the meat stuffed pie, and the fattouch salad. I have zero complaints! This seems like a nice small family owned shop and everyone was extremely friendly. They also have lattes and regular coffee, which I did not expect. Definitely worth a visit.

Food:The meat was very well seasoned. I prefer my meat a bit red, but this was pretty well done and still very good and somewhat tender. The salad contained onions, tomatoes, kale, olives, and lettuce. The vinaigrette to go with it paired nicely. The salad was very refreshing and the perfect addition to the meal. The rice was not too soft and not too hard with minimal seasoning, but complemented the meat. The pita was good and very big. Overall, very good and filling.Service:The staff are amazing! I came in at breakfast and ordered a lunch plate without considering the time and they said they would be okay to make it. They were super nice, speedy, and definitely made my day.Ambiance:Inside has a good amount of counter seats around the window and also patio seating. A tiny restaurant but they make good use of their space. Also looks very clean and a nice place to eat at.

Best Lebanese food in Cleveland! The tabbouli and lentil soup warm my heart on a cold winter day. Dave and the staff are super nice and love to get to know customers. I can't recommend this place enough. I work in Playhouse Square and it's hard not to go to Zaytoon every day for lunch!!

Someone told me that the food was delicious at Zaytoon about 6 months ago. I don't know what took me so long to try it. I finally tried it last week. I've eaten there 3 times this week. I had the butternut squash soup, the lentil soup, both were deliciou. They had lamb burgers for a limited time last week, the burgers and fresh cut fries were delicious. I also tried the falafel plate and the gyro plate, both were filling and very delicious. I would definitely recommend Zaytoon for breakfas, brunch or lunch. Below it a picture of the gyro plate. It has salad, fries, rice and gyro.
