I can't believe it took me YEARS to finally check this place out! I went on a Sunday around noon and despite it being busy with the post-church crowd, our service was amazing!!! I've never been treated so well by staff in my life! Our main server was Brie and I'll make sure to ask for her as my server for now on. We also were checked up on by a few other employees, including this delightful man in a cowboy hat (I didn't catch his name, unfortunately). For the entire two hours my friend and I were there, we never felt rushed and our waters were always refilled. Now as for the food, I have no complaints! I should mention the menu prices on their website are outdated but only by about 10-20%. But be mindful of that! I chose to treat myself to the jerk chicken wings with sides of Cajun corn and sweet potato waffle fries. For $19, I was given DOUBLE the amount of food I expected! And thank goodness for that because I am now addicted to their deep fried jerk chicken wings! We were also given extra blueberry and sweet potato mini muffins . My friend ordered the fish cakes, corn, and coleslaw and enjoyed her dish as well! Tip was included in the bill but as it is only 15%, we left a few dollars extra each. Thanks for the yummy food and great service! I fully intend to come back again soon!

I noticed if you go early you get top notch service!!! I absolutely love this place!! It can be a hit or miss but usually a hit!! I love the decor the music is a whole vibe!!! If you haven't tried their soul rolls let me tell you you've been missing out!!! I practically done had everything on their menu!!! The honey glaze fried chicken is chef kiss the jerk wings phenomenal and that dipping sauce is outta this world. I f you grew up on momma's kool aid this bring back memories!!! Very sugary but if you brush your teeth it shouldn't be a problem!!! Also they already add a gratuity which is fine I didn't noticed until I read the receipt they charged $12.42 We gave a 20 dollar tip so that was a total of $32.42 tip smh

The downtown location I went to today on lunch. I have an hour and my food was not ready. There was no one inside when we came in, yet she said they were busy. The girl had an attitude and didn't wanna compensate for my time wasted! And then tried to make it seem like the food was gonna go to waste even though it wasn't ready after almost an hour. I will never go there again!!! Terrible...

Ambiance was the best part. It is clean, music selection was perfect for the vibes. Service however was not up to par. Server took at least 7 minutes to come to the table to introduce herself however she didn't come empty handed so that was a plus. They have these mini cornbread muffins that are fire. They were fluffy and hot. The overall food was mid and for some odd reason they put cilantro on everything when it's not a garnish and definitely made the flavor so weird. Mac was imbalanced with pre shredded cheese and egg mixed with noodles and thrown in the oven. Yams are definitely a hit. Greens I didn't like taste like dirty water. Outside of the mini cornbread muffins an employee named "Cowboy" was sooooo kind, helpful, and was a better representation. Added by my friend: "When the server came to our table to take our order, she did not write anything down. We knew at that point without question, she would get our order wrong. We were right."

Overall the food was good. The greens and Soul Rolls are always bland. The house potatoes are always good but with too much salt for all of our tastes. But the entrees were very good, as were the other side dishes that we. Best of all was our server, Bree. She is just a darling, and did everything she could to make our experience a good one. She was polite, professional, and added greatly to the experience. We were at Zanzibar a couple of weeks earlier in a smaller group. She was our server then, and we were delighted to see that she was our server for this larger group!
