Get Natalie! She is a sweetheart. Had the biscuits and gravy. It was good. But not hitting it for me. A bit too much pepper and the biscuits did not taste homemade. Now the pancakes!!! Just order 2. They are big flaky and YUM!!

Average is a good word for this place. Their menu is gigantic and they don't seem to have a handle on exactly what they specialize in. The apps we got were ok, and my partner's fish was good. I got the crab cakes and was kinda underwhelmed. They have a giant beer selection so that's definitely a plus. So coming back for the bar is definitely an option. Our server was super nice, but you could tell she was overwhelmed with all the people in the restaurant, and it looked like she was the only one taking care of everyone. Happy eating.

I have frequented Z pub since they opened. I had an experience tonight. That makes me say I will not go back. A selection I often order on their menu is steak, cakes, and spuds. This is steak tips, crabcakes, and potatoes. When I received them, unlike anytime before, the crabcakes were very spicy. I brought it to the attention of my server and waited a long time before I had to call her back over to the table again when she offered to get me something else. I agreed to a salad, but that certainly isn't comparable to crabcakes. The price of the meal was $17.99. When the server came back to give us our bill, I brought to her attention that I felt some adjustment should be made to my bill. She took it to the manager, Tara, who eventually came over to our table. I asked if there could be an adjustment made to my bill, she was very rude, took my bill and adjusted it by three dollars. She didn't come back to the table herself, but sent the minimally adjusted bill with the server. I paid the bill and left the server an appropriate tip, but I do not ever intend to return to Z Pub!

This was a great find in a girls weekend antiquing through western Pa. Chili and potato soup were delicious. Club sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. Server was very friendly. Prices are more than reasonable.

I wanted to update to say that like some other reviewers mentioned, Zpub dipped but they have rebounded in a great way. We've also ordered takeout and been really impressed with everything. Their steak and chicken salad is a typical winner-dinner for our house. Another regular request is their kids pasta meal which has yet to let us down. Happy to update the review and looking forward to stopping by even more.

1st off, this review has nothing to do with the food. We have always had good food, and exceptional service from wait staff. I wasn't going to write this review, but after seeing others having an issue with Tara the manager, I knew we weren't the only ones with a complaint about her. We used to frequent Z-pub almost every single Friday. We hardly go anymore. We have witnessed her belittling some of the wait staff in front of everyone. (Not very professional). There was a problem with our check, she came over to our table,rolled her eyes and was extremely snooty. She doesn't know how to talk customers or the staff. Nepotism is going to lose the owner a lot of business. I have a lot of friends that feel the same way.

Always great food and great service. My Buddy and I go there quite often for lunch. It's a good break from work. We each order something different each time we go and I don't think there's a bad choice to be made. The menu is very extensive. Hoping to stop sometime after work for a cold beverage from their vast selection. Haven't had time to do so, yet.

The wife and I frequent this restaurant usually twice a week as it is one of our favorites. Last night 1/7/2025, at roughly 5:30 pm, was our first visit of the New Year, and frankly I was disappointed with the experience. We have observed that the service we receive on Mondays and Tuesdays is slower, and the staff not as attentive. Upon arrival we were seated in the back and the wife and I noticed that the Tuesday crowd was thin with maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of the seats filled. Our server brought our drinks and took out orders. The wife ordered soup and a salad, I chose the breakfast steak and eggs. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. While waiting, we observed Door Dash orders flying out the door. After waiting 25 minutes, my wife's soup came out. I flagged our server over and asked where our food was, she said she'd check, but she thought the Door Dash orders were being sent out first. I reflected that while important to fill, Door Dashes should wait until the seated, physical customers were served. 30 minutes from seat time our order was finally served. My food was barely warm. According to my wife, her salad was fine, but quipped how hard is it to plate a salad and bring it out within 5-10 minutes? The server came by to refill our drinks and I asked to see the manager. The server seemed upset by that request and stated that "TARA" was bartending/Manager for the night and she would ask her to come by. After another 10 minutes, TARA finally arrived table side. I explained how long we waited for food once ordered and stated I observed many Door Dashes going out the door before seated customers being served. Her response was in a snarky tone of voice with a condescending smile, "Door Dashes have a separate ordering system and cook to fill those orders". My response was, "Well, maybe you should "manage" the kitchen better that if the orders get behind for seated customers, you take care of them first?" Of course TARA wasn't happy with that and asked " Is that all?" No further explanation, no promise to do better, and most importantly, no apology for her frankly, quite crappy attitude. I remarked as she was walking away that I guess I would have to speak to the owner about the experience and her snarky remark was that "Oh, he's my brother. I'll make sure I tell him about your wait time when I speak to him." I stated, "Get him on the phone, I'll talk to him right now", TARA just walked away back to the bar. No apology, no bill adjust, nothing. Now if the owners reads this, and I hope he does, go speak to Betty or Dugan and ask what kind of customers Al and Dawn are. How we tip for great service, and how much we frequent the establishment. TARA at best, is a crappy bartender. She is NOT manager material. In the future, if I were the owner, I wouldn't want TARA to manage the clean up of the bathrooms, much less the entire establishment.
