I love this place but there is a bitchy white girl who just started working there I like the Asian ladies more ,they are very nice. She gave me a bitchy attitude and didn't give me my change back. She got mad at me when I was testing the ice cream and got mad at my cousin when she tried one piece of boba to see if she liked it.

Yogurt Vi is an excellent fro-yo establishment, with a good selection of flavors and toppings. We've been coming here for years. The employees are kind and professional, but what really kills me is these irresponsible, lazy, pathetic, selfish parents who let their slob kids run wild there! I'm talking kids sticking their hands in the toppings, or letting the fro-yo or syrup go all over the place (often on purpose), instead of aiming for their cups. If your kids are incapable of being civil and neat, you should supervise and help them, so that other customers can have a good, neat experience there! Sheesh.

My little sister was talking my ear off about this place and so I finally gave in. We came here on a Saturday night after dinner and I was not impressed. This place has the typical frozen yogurt flavors you'd expect (pumpkin, strawberry, cookies and cream, etc). Alright using Menchies as a baseline in my head, I was expecting so much more from Yogurt Vi. First of all, what the EF is up with the employees here regulating frozen yogurt as if it were gold? Right when we walked in, every employee was mean muggin'! Dude, relax! It's frozen yogurt! As we poured froyo into our cups, the employees stood there and watched every move we made. They seriously stood in a line and gave the crazy eyes to customers. I didn't know we were prisoners in Oz. Also, the staff looked like they were forced to work here. I think kids at some sweatshop had more enthusiasm than these peeps. If you don't want to work there, finally take the time and finish that shiny McDonald's application! Unlike Menchies, you're only allowed ONE small cup to test flavors. At Menchies, they have a tray filled with dixie cups so you can test as many flavors as you want. Here, you can only test one flavor...unless you want to be ghetto and reuse the soggy paper cup they give you. Why offer several flavors and ask that customers only test one? Are we supposed to assume that the other flavors are even good? Psht. It's not like this place is cheap so if you pour a heavy cup of pistachio and later find out it tastes like ass, your loss. My sis was especially annoyed with the "one test cup per customer" rule and asked one of the employees WTF the deal was with that. Employee's response: "They're Asian, what do you expect?" Daaaaahhhaaaammn! The taste of the yogurt here is nothing special at all. Honestly, it tasted way too much like milk and less like real frozen yogurt. When I want frozen yogurt, it better taste like frozen yogurt! If I want some cheap tasting crap, I'll go to some gas station and get a $1 milkshake. I get what this place is doing. You're not going to give Menchies a run for its money. In fact, I think you may have increased its clientele. 1 star for extreme cleanliness and another star for the choice of toppings.

I'm not a big sweets gal, but I don't mess around when it comes to some fro-yo. First of all, it should be tart or there should at least be one option that legitimately tastes like actual frozen yogurt. If I wanted sugary-sweet ice cream I would have gone to get ice cream, yes? Yes. Secondly, fresh fruit, please. I don't want canned peaches or any syrup-coated canned fruit for that matter. I will say that Yogurt Vi did provide a "tart", "original" flavor and some fresh, out of season fruit. I get it, we live in Northeast Ohio. I know berries are going to be sour and mangos are going to be hard as a rock. I also know that my first fro-yo experience was Pink Berry in LA, so I'm quite spoiled. But that fruit was pretty tasteless. Also, I didn't get a huge portion or anything, but it still was relatively cheap. Again, if you are the type to load up with toppings, this might not be the case for you, but I just had about a half cup of the original flavor with some berries and mangos. But that's where the positives end. The "tart" yogurt tasted only slightly like the real thing and to be honest, it tasted almost like rotten fruit. I know... it sounds weird, but I couldn't kick the taste. It stuck with me through the whole bowl. *Sigh* I just wasn't wowed. When I my spoon into the glorious bowl of tart *real* frozen yogurt heaping with fresh, ripe fruit at Pink Berry, it was life changing. This was just "eh".I will admit that maybe I went on an off day and when summertime comes around, the fruit might be better. Also, they have tons and tons of sugary-chocolate-y toppings for those who like that sort of stuff. Overall, it's an OK solution if you're fiending for some tart or sweet fro-yo, but it's not going to change your life like it should. And trust me, great fro-yo can and it should.

Pinkberry is known for starting the yogurt trend. Self-serve yogurt with a variety of flavors though is known to have started with Yogurtland in California. Having eaten at both of those in high school, I was always a fan of Yogurtland because of their exceptional prices. See, Yogurtland prices are $0.33cents an ounce. So I could afford to get a full cup of yogurt filled with mochi for about 4 bucks. The atmosphere at yogurtland is always full of happy people and packed with business. Plus you can get as many free samples as you want! No limit. Yogurt Vi, along with many other yogurt places that have suddenly popped up in Cleveland, are imitations of Yogurtland and Pinkberry. They hopped on the bandwagon and decided to ride the frozen-yogurt wave too, in hopes of also being as successful. Now the frozen yogurt is actually pretty tasty in my standards. It's the price that gets you. They charge $0.49cents per ounce, which ends up costing me around $6-7 for what I usually get for $4. And trust me, it adds up. I mean, for $7, I could get a full meal somewhere else. It's supposed to be dessert. I don't think dessert should cost more than $5 unless you're at a super fancy place. And the service - I don't even know WHY this place has service - is very irritating. The guy at the counter seems to be watching your every move to see if you steal any of the toppings or put them in a napkin and hide them. The thing is, if they wanted to watch you're every move, they should have designed the place so that the toppings are next to the guy at the cash register - not across the room in a corner where you can have your back turned so the guy can't see you! Also, when I went, there was another guy just standing by the machines, cleaning them constantly, and possibly watching me like a hawk to see if I did anything sneaky. C'mon man. It's Yogurt. Not diamonds. If you haven't tried frozen yogurt before, I'd recommend you try it before you decide whether you like it or not. It's not the frozen yogurt at this place that I dislike - it's more the high price per ounce and awkward service that is afforded in this establishment.

This yogurt place was not bad. As some of the other reviews mentioned, they do not have the original tart yogurt flavor as an option. They also did not have mochi (although they do have popping boba). As those two things are my favorites for frozen yogurt, I was a bit disappointed. However, there was still a great variety of yogurt flavors and toppings. My favorite yogurt flavor was the mango because it was tart-y. The other yogurt flavors were really creamy and resembled more of a soft-serve instead of the usual froyo.
