Xlerator Bar & Grille

I was thinking about the spicy sausage sandwich but the waitress raved about the steak sandwich. Said it was their best seller and personally guaranteed I'd like it. It was fine but kinda bland. And it was dry. Needed some mustard in the worst way. The drinks were fine but the best thing about this place were the two gals who wanted to be at the Penguins game but were stuck watching it on TV. They got more and more worked up and more and more creative as they cursed every fan that won an autographed jersey. They were wishing calamity and destruction on the players, on the fans, even the city that the fans came from. By the end they would have beat up a boy scout or knocked over an old lady just to get one of those things. It was awesome. Thanks ladies. You saved the night.

Good food at decent prices. I love the atmosphere of the bar and restaurant and the bartenders are fantastic. Only gave it 4 stars because it is a very smoky bar and because of this we only stay a short while. Better exhaust systems would give this place 5 stars for sure.

Decent place. A man called rage bought this place and spent a great deal of time and money remodeling it. The service is somewhat hit or miss. In the restaurant section we had decent to good food. I though it was somewhat bland, but most people seem to like it a lot. The bar is covered in diamond plate metal. It's like a cutting edge rock club from 1983. This is fine with me, there's no other place like it in Beaver County. The live acoustics make it painfully loud when a band plays ( they have great bands play ). Unfortunately the ear damaging volume made most of the crowd leave. Also the bartenders do not seem to be interested in selling drinks. I'm not quite sure what they do. Every time is like their first day.

Tried out this relatively new area restaurant. Upon opening the door, a very strong smell of smoke was evident. There was a sign stating smoking permitted. Very few people there and we went down in the dining area (smoke free). I had fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. It included a fresh crisp salad and homemade ranch dressing. Portion was huge and taste was exceptional. There were lots of mushrooms and 8 large shrimp. Served with garlic toast. My husband had a black and Bleu burger and included fries, lettuce, tomatoes, onions on the side. Again the size of the burger and amount of fries were huge. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. We made a good choice.

Update --- Xlerator has a great stage and performance area. We have been there one time and found it excellent. What is NOT excellent is its advertising. We signed up for the email list but apparently that is NOT being maintained by anyone. People we want to see play there but there is no PUSH advertising via the email list. How does a musical venue expect to draw folk in and maintain their repeated business when they do not do email PUSH advertising? Facebook has a PUSH system as well. This note is not about the groups that play there, nor about the associated restaurant. It is about having a nice, actually excellent place, locally, and finding they are unable to actually advertise effectively.f8 and be there (well, if I ever had email from them telling me what is going on musically).

Food was great! Bar tender was tentative and pleasant. Would definitely be back. I had the fish sandwich and fries, it was FANTASTIC!!

I've been going here through several changes of ownership. The staff, in this latest version, is awesome. Friendly...funny...accomodating...they are tops! Selection of beers on tap is good and nobody glares at you for ordering a cocktail more complex than seven and seven. They often have live entertainment of the good n' loud bar band like your BIL plays in variety. Maybe your thing... not mine. Their bike nights are kind of sad. I like hitting this place mid-afternoon and enjoying a drink and chatting with the staff.

Slippery when snowy entrance hill. Very nicely remodeled bar and separated restaurant. Smoking bar is a turn off for us but was liveable. Was shown the separate restaurant after we ate which we are excited to sit at next visit soon, very soon without smoke. We Tried chicken sandwich and salmon salad. Both were great. Chef obviously cares what he serves and staff very attentive. Do not give it a second thought, u must go!

Nicest bar in Beaver County. Has the two nicest cleanest men's rooms in the county. Fresh homemade food and great live entertainment. Real steak cooked to order on the steak salads and steak sandwich. New place with new staff working out the kinks, but I highly recommend it.
