Stopped by Wok N Roll yesterday at Walnut Wednesday and I ordered the poutine. After waiting a bit, I was served a good portion of the dish. It was somewhat flavorful and I liked the red sauce they put on it, but it wasn't a "knock-my-socks-off" dish. I probably won't order it again. Since this is currently the best food truck in Cleveland, I expected more. There wasn't any Asian flavor in the dish. It wasn't spicy or anything. In fact, I would venture to say that it was bland. My co-worker ordered the Yunnanese Noodles and he didn't have a strong opinion on the flavors. I would still like to try the banh mi in the search for great flavor, but I don't expect to find it here. The quality of the food was very good as was the texture, but I was surprised by the lack of flavor.

I have been wanting to try this food truck ever since I saw a fellow yelper post about the Korean Poutine. Fast forward to the recent Fairview Park Food Truck Festival where the clouds parted and a beam of sunshine pointed me to Wok N Roll. So I waited my turn in line and encountered some super friendly staff (also I'm pretty sure one of the owners has a food blog called CLEfoodies). Here's what I got:-Korean Poutine $9Fried tater tots with monterey jack cheese, Korean red sauce, the protein of your Choice (I got caramelized pork), kimchi slaw, and black sesame seeds. This was really tasty! I just wish there had been a tad more of the sauce/topping as I had a few uncovered tater tots that were a bit lonely. The sauce/topping is what makes this dish, otherwise you just have plain tater tots (to be fair I am one of those people who likes to dip their fries/tots in fancy condiments so the more the merrier!).-Oknomiyaki Fritters $5Veggie fritters filled with carrots, corn, cabbage and onions, topped with a sweet soy sauce, sriracha mayo and green onions. You get 3 in an order (bigger than a golf ball?) and while I enjoyed the drizzle of sauce and the texture of the fried outside and fluffy inside of the fritter, I thought the breading drowned out the veggies and I visually could only see a few specks of veggies inside the fritter. Don't get me wrong, they're good, but without some more veggies they seemed a little plain. I suppose this makes them more like a hushpuppy? Also it should be noted that they were voted Best Food Truck for 2015 by Cleveland Scene Magazine. I say if you're lucky enough to find this truck then you should definitely check them out. I know I would sample their goods again!

This is an Asian Fusion food truck that I've paid a few visits to when they frequented the Cleveland Flea. I love their okonomiyaki fritters! Tastes nothing like okonomiyaki, but hey, how many people here actually know what okonomiyaki are anyway (they are very very delicious japanese fried pancakes, often with embedded seafood or other goodies, definitely worth trying if you are ever in Japan... or Los Angeles). On the other hand, Wok N Roll's okonomiyaki fritters are basically a fried mass of dough and veggies with a sweet soy sauce, but they are quite delicious. Also tried their Bahn Mi, which also tastes nothing like a Vietnamese Bahn Mi and is on the wrong type of bread, but the meat was very tender and it was pretty good overall. Hey, with Asian fusion you can be creative, right?

at the Crocker Park Food Truck Challenge i wanted to try the Wok N Roll truck more than any other. i've wanted a Banh Mi sandwich for a long time but whenever i see them on a menu they're always pretty expensive. since i had come for this truck only, i went ahead and splurged. i ordered the Banh Mi with no cilantro. i'm one of those people who hates the taste of cilantro. the sandwich was great. really very enjoyable. the bread was good. the veggies were good and the pork was delicious. i'll admit, though, that the pork was not what i would consider to be authentic. maybe i'm wrong but it was more of a pulled pork - the style of which you'd find on a southern style sandwich. whatever, it was great. i'd definitely get it again and would be interested in trying some other things at Wok N Roll.

Ever since my friend Louis texted me a picture of Wok N Roll's Korean Poutine I have been on a mission to find this glorious food truck. I found Wok N Roll at Edgewater Live and even though the line was tremendously long I decided to take a chance since I love Korean food! I am half Korean so it is very interesting to see what non Koreans come up with when they cook Korean food. Wok N Roll's Korean Poutine w/ Bulgogi blew me away! I love how they mixed something so American (tater tots, coleslaw and ground beef) with Korean elements (the bulgogi sauce, gochujang sauce and kimchi flavor in the coleslaw). I think it is a great way to introduce Korean food to people who have never had it because lets be honest, Korean food can be a little intimidating with it's pungent and stinky kimchi (which I absolutely love!). Besides the Korean Poutine, they also had another popular Korean dish, Bibimbap. My friend ordered the Banh Mi with Carmelized Pork, and he said it was one of the best things he ever ate. We were impressed with the sauce that was in it...it might have been a siracha mayo. Right before I typed up this review I looked up Wok N Roll's food truck schedule so I can follow them wherever they go....

Been on a Korean food kick lately so I had to check out the truck when it was parked near my office. I ordered the pork bibimbap here and it holds up. Really enjoyed the sauce. Next time I'll have to check out their take on poutine.

I work in Crocker Park & I always like to try something new for lunch around the area. For "Truck Stop Tuesday" a few weeks back. They parked right in front of my store's doors so obviously I felt it was meant to be! I ordered bahn mi w/ caramelized pork, oknomiyaki fritters, angel wings, and a pineapple shrub soda. My reaction after tasting everything..."JESUS, TAKE THE WHEEL!!!!!!!!". Some of my coworkers had the Korean poutine & were raving like crazy! Wok n Roll is one of the best food trucks EVER!! :)

I visited this truck at the Chinese Night Market this pass summer. I normally don't eat Asian cuisine, but I was tired of the same old tacos, pizza, and polish boys. The owners Matt and Trish were super helpful with helping me to decide which menu item I should order. I selected the crab Rangoon since it was the most familiar to me. IT WAS AWESOME!!! Crispy on the outside with a generous amount of filling on the inside.Needless to say, I'm hooked on Wok N Roll! if you see this food truck anywhere it's a must that you order some of their delicious cuisine.

Great food and great service. Asian fusion that is very satisfying. Read previous review but I thought the food was right on the money on cost. I would go back and recommend it to readers.
