Time for our Union's annual clambake! One of our business agents is a member of the club. He is able to secure the club for our event. Plenty of parking and plenty to do here on the grounds. There are many regulation bacci courts, a volleyball court, corn hole boards, a gazebo, a large pavilion and a playground for kids outside. Plenty of picnic tables and some bleachers to watch the bacci courts. The club is kept up nicely and it doesn't look run down one bit. I know a lot of other clubs and halls just aren't what they used to be but, The I and A club is still nice after all of this time.

Great location for their annual bocce tournament. Another well attended event with talented teams locally, across the state. and out of state. Many courts allow for good amount of games. Full bar is fairly priced. Cigar tent is spot on. Great food selection from about 8-10 stands. Live entertainment for for most of the three days. Courts 1-3 were a little fast and uneven but the players adjusted. Great family experience.

Very awesome facility set back against a nice woodsy area (near the train tracks). The bocce courts are superbly maintained and in great shape. There are at least 10 lanes entirely under a roof with gas radiant heaters in the rafters to warm up players on cool fall evenings. Lots of bleachers for spectators (or those of us eliminated from competition due to our unfortunately lousy bocce skills...) to sit and watch. It's obvious the management/workers take pride in their facility so much so that this is an annual venue for an international bocce tournament in late August.Deer from the woods routine lay out on the nearby grass seemingly uncaring of all the human commotion on the bocce courts! Except for the occasional train passing nearby and the cheers/jeers from your fellow bocce ballers, the place looks and feels quite tranquil and serene. A BBQ grill with tons of picnic tables in the same shelter next to the bocce courts makes for a great lunch/food break gathering spot. Not sure how much it is to be a member here but it's about $325 to rent the bocce courts for an afternoon plus $10/hr for an attendant to be on hand. Clean, spacious bathrooms that can handle large group events. This makes a great spot for corporate parties and get-togethers too. Bocce is something non-strenuous that everyone can play and have fun doing!

The food at this place is incredible. We had our daughter's wedding reception here in 2013 and our out of town family members are still raving about the food, as well as the venue itself. The au gratin potatoes, roast beef are to die for, and the cost is quite reasonable. We went back because we heard they were having a Mother's Day brunch and it, too, was incredible. They had both ham and turkey, and it was fork tender and tasty. Unfortunately, they're not having a Father's Day event.

I recently officiated a wedding here. We had the ceremony in the back grassy area. If you decide to do this please be aware that trains seem to go by often and it's noisy. Also, my GPS and many of the guests couldn't seem to find this place as it's quite set off the road. The place is cute and I'm sure this bride and groom paid a great price. My lower score is based on one simple thing -- the servers would not refill water at the table. We had to go to the bar and refill our water glasses. It just seemed so odd and a simple part of customer service that should be an absolute given seeing as how much couples pay for receptions.
