Whistle & Taproom Venue

3 1/2 stars. Stopped here on the way to the Indians game. They do have some bottled/canned drink options, but the main attraction is a "self serve" tap wall with various beers and ciders. They give you a bracket that activates the tap you choose and you pay by the ounce. Nice that you can try a little sample before deciding on a larger pour. Beer selection was decent, not enough dark beers for my liking. I think I poured a total of about a pint and a half of beers and it cost me $15. Not cheap, but nevertheless a neat set-up. The owner was very helpful explaining the process to me.

Popped in at lunch to try their slice. Service was super fast. I will definitely be back. The pizza was delicious.

Such a yummy custom panini and bisque with generous portions. Will def feed me for two meals ;-) Quick and friendly service-- very easy to order ahead online and pop over during work to pick up. Thank you!!!

Love this place. Met both Hanna and Anya while there and they are both wonderful. Beer was great. Atmosphere and service were perfect.Looking very much forward to returning soon.

My family and I came here before a Guardians game while in Cleveland, and all I can say is, what an amazing place. 50+ beers that you can serve yourself and enjoy on tap, I couldn't be happier with our experience. Friendly staff, delicious beers, convenient location, and friendly Guardians fans everywhere. Plus, the beer was fairly affordable, too. What's not to love? I will definitely make it a point to come back here next time we visit Cleveland, would recommend!!

Food (catered) & service were great. It was a company holiday party with 90 guests. Were given incorrect info from management regarding parking and cars were ticketed and towed. Not cool.

NEW RENOVATIONS ROCK!! I've loved Whistle for years for their serve-yourself taps, but their new expanded space really makes the business feel like an established business. There's a great bar to sit around now and additional table seating, PLUS PIZZA! Having a by-the-slice shop so close to Rocket Mortgage/Progressive Field is huge. $6 a slice is decent, especially when considering location and convenience.It's clear they put a lot of time and consideration into the new space with the decor and guardian 3D murals, and thinking about what downtown cle can benefit from. Give it a few years and this will be The pregame spot for all Cleveland sports fans (watch out Clevelander/Thirsty Parrot!)ALSO if you're unfamiliar with Whistle, their serve yourself taps are the best. You go up to the bar to open a tab and they'll give you a keycard. Then you can go up to any beer (or wine or cocktail sometimes!), scan your card, and pour however much beer you want! Even if it's only a few ounces to taste before pouring more. They have a huge selection of local and beers from all over, plus all the classics. I love to try at least 5 different beers when I visit and it's super easy because you control how large your pours are!! Super great spot.

Great spot! Stopped in with some friends and love the tap wall and my wife loved their seltzer options. Had a few paninis and they were awesome. Recommend the Double Play!

Stopped at Whistle and Keg before heading to a game. I loved the variety of beers/ drinks offered. Wish I lived closer to go more often!

Love the self serve taps. Great variety of beers, wines and cocktails. Paninis are delicious and fair on my wallet. Definitely will hit this spot up every time I'm in downtown.
